I have thought this too. I can only guess it’s something to do with what we were warned about. There’s not been much diversity amongst those who have built and programmed the tech therefore maybe the ‘benefits’ reflect the desires of the personality types of those who build and own AI solutions.

A problem with calls for more viewpoint diversity in academia, or journalistic “balance”, is that they effectively treat all viewpoints as equivalent.
