Today on 9/11, we remember and honor the lives that were taken from us in a terrible act of terrorism. Nothing can justify the murder of innocent civilians. Nothing. 1/

This nation was founded on a union, and on this Labor Day, we’re reminded that the American worker, not Washington, has led to our prosperity. As one of the few pro-union GOP congressmen at the time, I’d rather celebrate the workers than the paperwork signers who gave us off today. (Link below)

Dolly Parton used her gift for music to highlight the challenges of poverty, inequality, and struggle in ways that uplifted and inspired working people. “And I told 'em all the story / Momma told me while she sewed / And how my coat of many colors / Was worth more than all their clothes”

We CAN STOP this. That’s why talking about the CLARITY Act is so important. Spread the word.

Trump's corruption is about to be supercharged. Unless we stop it. The CLARITY Act is moving, and it's time to sound the alarm before it's too late.

Jon Ossoff sums it up: “This is the cruelest & most arrogant group of people who ever ascended to high office - their cruelty & arrogance are only matched by their incompetence."

As Trump's police state engulfs the nation, we’re gaining stronger unity against it and taking more responsibility for the well-being of each other. In the darkness of Trump, we’re finding the light of America.

There was a rule when I was in Trump's first term: if a memo had a staple in it, it was too long for him to read. Life-or-death decisions were cut to one page. Or a half-page. Or less. Bold fonts. BIG pictures. When you’re wondering why everything’s a mess, remember that.

Public schools aren't Sunday schools. Requiring students of every faith and none to study biblical stories as privileged reading isn't religious freedom. It's government promoting one religion over everyone else, and that's bad for both the Constitution and religion.

Texas has decided public schools should teach Noah's Ark, the Burning Bush, Adam & Eve, and more as required reading. It's terrible news for religious freedom. It's also terrible news for Christianity itself. www.friendlyatheist.com/p/texas-just...

If Republicans maintain their majority in Congress, Speaker Mike Johnson intends to spend the next two years running an anti-oversight “protection program” for the White House and its allies. I’m honestly a little surprised he admitted this out loud and in public. www.ms.now/rachel-maddo...

💯💯💯 Agree with this. It's hard to celebrate when we are standing on the edge of uncertainty as we watch our rights being stripped away by the most morally corrupt, unfit President in 250 years.

Trump wants to use millions in national park entry fees to fund his vanity projects — including a $1.6M fireworks show and a $5M White House helipad. This comes after he made huge cuts to the NPS budget. We should be preserving our national treasures for future generations, not neglecting them.

Friends, I’ve been around politics for over 50 years. I’ve never seen anything as brazenly crooked and corrupt as what Trump and his cronies did today.

Hawaii just enacted a law that effectively neuters Citizens United. Montana could soon follow suit via a ballot referendum. Here's what you should know about the plans to get Big Money out of politics — and how they could be replicated where you live.

The DOJ is reportedly considering dropping any audits of Trump, his family, or his businesses as part of a potential settlement of his bogus lawsuit against the IRS. That’s on top of the $10 billion in damages he wants. This is corruption on steroids — and taxpayers will pay the price.
