I haven’t posted here recently. In light of the historically record low snowpack, and the administration’s new “Fire Service”….. does anyone have any intel on the readiness of the new organization? Do they have the national contracts in place? have they advertised/filled key leadership positions?

I would really appreciate Forest Service leaders simply saying “thank you for your input, but we aren’t doing that.” This was an advisory council, FFS. “The group was working on solutions like child care and changing fitness requirements for pregnant and postpartum women.”
