I was in attendance when the fans at Mile One Centre in St. John's Newfoundland ended this man's professional basketball career by making fun of him so hard he crashed out and got effectively banned from the NBLC. And he will never get paid another penny to play basketball ever again. 🥰

"The Empire's iconography matters" ...also a fascist dog whistle!

The vandalism and desecration of the White House isn't just vanity and it's not trivial. It's caesarism, as in literally what Julius Caesar did to the symbolic architecture of civic republicanism. Our national iconography matters and allowing the disfiguring of it to persist is a substantive harm.

a moral society would put these people into reeducation camps

SAM ALTMAN: “People talk about how much energy it takes to train an AI model … But it also takes a lot of energy to train a human. It takes like 20 years of life and all of the food you eat during that time before you get smart.”

Just had a guy in my Instagram dm's pull the ole, "Hitler was a socialist" line.. Re-education camps. NOW. Also, get me a list of every single person who has sat in that 1km long lineup for the new Taco Bell. They're all going to a special gulag.

Already talking like a congresswoman (out of both sides of her mouth)

Today marks the two-year anniversary of the horrific October 7 attack. As we mourn the 1,218 lives lost that day, let us also keep alive the dream of a lasting peace and a better future for all. Ceasefire now. Every hostage must come home. And a safer world for everyone.

If you are okay with this, if you think this is justified, if you think people living on the street have brought this upon themselves, if you think this is good leadership, you may be able to fool yourself that you care about others but you don’t fool me

This is the only correct option, actually

Once again I would like to propose my Olympics idea: No more going from place to place. Everyone travels to where they always are. Permanent home in Greece for summer events & indoor winter events. Permanent home for outdoor winter events in some miserable place where you can count on snow.

Newfoundland and Labrador released its 5-year climate change mitigation plan. It doesn’t have much vision. On the transport front, the plan focuses almost entirely on electrifying vehicles — paying little mind to the many ways the government can make it easier for people to get around without cars.

theindependent.caProvince misses opportunity to reimagine public transportation in climate action plan – The IndependentTransportation accounts for 44 per cent of Newfoundland and Labrador’s greenhouse gas emissions

1 hour bike ride, 3 cars cut me off, one Heave Away Waste Management dumpster tipping truck buzzed me with ~1ft clearance. The drivers of St. John's are actively hostile towards cyclists. I should be allowed to carry a handgun when riding.

listening to carney’s first press conference, and god damn that guy has such a right-wing policy program: cutting immigration, cracking down on criminals, deregulation, cutting government spending, more subsidies for private sector, and it goes on. even getting the king over is pretty conservative.

Gotta hand it to them, the crackheads we are constantly chasing away from work are really polite and apologetic. Hopefully I won't have to issue a dril style retraction on this one.

Me five years ago: Hmm buying a bike and riding around the neighborhood sometimes could be fun. Maybe I'll give this a whirl. Could be nice to bike to the store instead of driving once in a while Me today: The government should kill every single person who drives a car in an urban environment

BREAKING: An immigration court determined our client Mahmoud Khalil to be removable from the U.S. based solely on his political speech. The fight isn't over — we'll keep fighting for Mahmoud's freedom and all of our First Amendment rights in federal court.

Canada needs to stop following the US down this road driven by geopolitics rather than what’s best for our own interests. It should welcome BYD and other Chinese brands to build factories in Canada.

We used to do this at Pizza Hut on Topsail Road in the early 2000's until Tony Wakeham (Current provincial PC leader) threatened to have me charged with theft. ☠️

something i think about often is my first job was at a pizza place. at the end of the night we’d pop the leftover pizzas we had in the temp fridge in the oven and take them to our homes for dinner. after awhile the owner MADE us throw them in the trash, no pizza “for free”. just pure waste now

Ohh cool, you used the plagiarism machine that cooks the world to rip-off a genius' life work. What's that? You've generated "Studio Ghibli Homer Simpson getting his hawg sucked by Lois Griffin"? Wow, incredible.

Notice that the issue isn't that the US is killing civilians in Yemen to aid israel in continuing a genocide. The big problem for the Dems and media is that they didn't keep their plans secret. Every single aspect of America is fascist, the government, the opposition, and the media.

Mr. Obamna, fascism has come to America. Will you please tell us what fire tracks you will be bumping in Nantucket this Summer? 🙏

Figured I’d hop on here today for the 15th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act. With everything going on right now, it’s easy to feel like regular folks can’t make a difference – but the ACA is a reminder that change is possible when we fight for progress.
