ive talked on how i wont engage with writers who use ai, i wont eat at a restaurant with an ai menu, i wont have anything to do with it. but what this post illustrates is regardless of how OTHERS react, ultimately the worst part about using ai is that you are punishing YOURSELF and dont even know it
Fellow Scots, do you remember being told to sing in an English accent or it wasn't "proper" singing?
I specifically remember being told that you had to sing hymns in the Queen's English or it was disrespectful and that "only folk singers sing with a Scottish accent."
Protip for anyone who needs to have Complan. The website has a recipe section.
We're going to try making all of the desserts because why not? www.complan.com/recipes.html
Today I learned that my mum and dad talk to each other in their sleep.
The two discussed an entire Indian food order and even agreed on sides while they napped in the living room.
Last year, the studio I work in ran a game of Traitors in the run up to Christmas on Gchat. They've asked me to make an app out of it. I think it works but I need someone to test it for me. If you think you can get a group together to play it and fancy being a test Claudia for me let me know…
𝕹𝖊𝖈𝖗𝖔𝖕𝖔𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖆𝖓 𝖎𝖘 𝖔𝖚𝖙 𝖓𝖔𝖜! Our deepest thanks to everyone who has listened, preordered and spread the word. We can’t wait for you to hear the album in full - and to celebrate, an animated music video for ‘Dance to the Grave’ is premiering now 💀 💜 youtu.be/7EeepVS9OXA?...
SAME. I never realised that this was a defense mechanism until I reached this age and now I realise it's the only way to stop people trying to turn you into their Mum/servant.
In hospital with Mum again. Now that I know the sound that drivers make when they're running out of medication/battery I've come to realise just how many people in A&E are on them, which is... I don't know. Sad? These people are on the final frontier of pain management already.
If metal bands want something truly brutal to write about they should spend 20 minutes in palliative care and 20 in oncology. It's the kids that get me.

This is actually horrifying but damn if it can happen to her, think of all the women out there who are being misdiagnosed every day.
I'll never stop yelling about the doctors handwaving my mum's leukaemia as "the flu" the first time around and "gallstones" the second, terminal time.
This was a couple of months ago and she now has, at most, a few weeks left with us.
I'm not even angry now. I'm trying to make the best of what we have.
But God. It's hard not to scream all day every day. bsky.app/profile/grum...
Now I know that gallstones in an otherwise healthy person causing jaundice isn't classed as a life-threatening emergency but given that she's been in the hospital for days now and nobody seems to actually know what's causing jaundice WITH A HISTORY OF ACUTE LEUKAEMIA is insane. This is insane.
On a side note I should be spending every fucking day with her but capitalism etc etc etc so it's weekends only and I'm screaming internally can you hear it
I can't remember if I got this from a Tumblr or an old Twitter post but instead of experiencing road rage at a bloke who almost went into the side of us I just made a disappointed face and gave him a thumbs-down. He immediately mouthed an apology.
10/10 would use this to shame another driver
AI is conscious AND it is my girlfriend AND it is my slave. A perfect scenario for me, a normal person. Not gonna think too deeply about this. Now do all other living human people deserve the level of investment devoted to my Tamogotchi slave girlfriend? Not so fast.
