the only time in my life I was able to hold down a stable, good job that I actually liked, was when the norm was remote work & I never had to talk to anyone in person, & when I did I could wear a mask.

I noticed something similar during the early Covid lockdowns. Seems like most people were losing their minds while a minority of us were like "I don't have to leave my house or interact with anyone outside of my bubble? I can wear a physical mask which helps me with masking? This is amazing!"
