Susan Collins announcing she'll vote against a controversial nominee is basically the moment it becomes clear that nominee will be confirmed. It means Thune has enough votes to confirm, and thus, Collins gets a pass to look independent.

BREAKING: Cornyn and Tillis have confirmed they'll vote for Blanche after his order rescinding the "anti-weaponization fund." Any concern they claimed to have had for survivors was performative and has now been abandoned. Ultimately, they chose to bend the knee to the Trump administration.

Blanche gave Cornyn/Tillis a fake deal, which is not a legally binding modification of the original agreement signed by all parties like they demanded, & kept IRS immunity, so they can surrender while declaring victory. Just more theater from worthless Republicans in the senate.
