Turning Point USA made a literal watch list of professors, primarily women, queer folks and people of color, and made us targets of political violence. I’ve received hate mail and harassment and death threats off and on for nearly a decade in part due to that man’s organization so 🤷🏽‍♀️

Explicit calls for violence, even war on many Americans, is very bad. Even worse since they have no idea who killed Kirk or why. But if you’re not familiar with these prominent right-wing figures, they regularly advocate violence and repression against the broadly defined Left, often based on lies.

The only analysis that I think is appropriate now: Charlie Kirk actively and successfully worked to create a more politically violent society. This is the kind of thing that happens in a politically violent society. It swallows the innocent and the complicit alike. Kirk was undeniably complicit.
