Content warning: Multiple men violently assault a female protester at Reform's conference at the Birmingham NEC, to the visible delight of Nigel Farage.

The most telling thing is that they already had the knowledge and processes in place to accept foreign money.

It’s almost like not being ‘manly’ enough was never the issue.

Being red-pilled is no good for the fellas is it? I don't know one who is happier or more successful since making the manosphere their personality.

For me it's the Lifestyle Shamers. Self-congratulatory arseholes who (claim to) get up at 4am after 17 minutes sleep and have had their protein shake, been to the gym, walked to the moon and cured cancer before getting to work an hour early. Fuck you. I got dressed, had a coffee and a shit.

It’s really easy to save 50bn if you don’t give a toss about the consequences

No. We purposely isolate inside an echo chamber on this platform because it’s the one area of our lives we aren’t forced to put up with complete arseholes.

Jon Freeman 🪶@disguisedinvirtue.bsky.social

Nope. I’m saying this platform is full of faux intellectuals who purposely isolate in an echo chamber to avoid scrutiny and accountability. They use this platform to indoctrinate the weak with their flawed ideology using mob like tactics to silence those who step out of line. Embarrassing.

I think we need to mentally prepare for the very real possibility that *none* of the allegations against Farage end up sticking, and what that will do to Reform’s ratings.

Incidentally, M&S changing rooms are now all gender neutral - something we’re probably going to see a lot more of following the EHRC guidance.

Interesting that with all these people standing, it’s only the Green party candidate that is being asked to stand down. One could almost think Labour and their supporters think that the Greens are a real threat

Farage claims his phone was hacked by Russia and that this highlights the “threat they pose to British security”. Which is odd because 7yrs ago he had the chance to strengthen laws against Russian interference but he voted against it, saying the claims were “baseless” The man is never, ever right.

Does he realise that saying it was ‘leaked’ infers he kept it secret on purpose? Is he now admitting his earlier statement about not disclosing it wasn’t true?

Feels like it’s gotten to the point where you simply need to mention the word ‘Israel’ and you’re screamed at for being antisemitic.

If you think not paying tax is the problem then you’ve missed the mark spectacularly.

Dan Neidle@danneidle.bsky.social

I regret to inform you that we will be publishing a detailed analysis this week of the £5m payment to Nigel Farage, and whether it's taxable. It is likely to annoy *everybody*. (except tax advisers, which is all that matters)

It’s fucking mental that the sensible politics understanders are now wandering around shouting about how greens should step aside so Burnham can save the world and can’t fathom why we’re telling them to stick it up their arses.

🤷

h3lx@h3lx.dev

There’s close to zero chance Burnham manages to get PR in before the next election, not just because of the time it takes, but because he wouldn’t even have a united party behind him and he’s not treating it as a first‑order priority himself.

Like, don’t get me wrong - I could actually get behind a hypothetical progressive/centre-left Labour coalition with the Greens. The problem is that today’s Labour Party isn’t progressive or centre-left.

And that certainly isn’t going to happen before the next election - even if Burnham is leader. The party would still be packed with Labour Together plants, so assuming he would swoop in and everything would be rosy again is fantasy land stuff.

It would take YEARS to unpick Mandelson/McSweeney/Reed’s efforts. Until then, the Green Party is right there 🤷

For a party that apparently ‘doesn’t have a right wing’, they sure do punch left a lot.

This post is unavailable.

I can see Streeting being Labour’s Liz Truss moment, quickly followed by Raynor then Burnham for the election.

The “Blue Labour” strategy still being promoted by some on Labour right is premised on being able to win social conservatives while holding on to social liberals. Failure state for this strategy is failing to win social cons while alienating social liberals. Here is a map of that failure state:

Piers Morgan’s idea of protecting women is apparently talking over the top of them when they don’t say what he wants them to.

There needs to be a drastic appraisal of the voting system. A party winning power with 75% opposed is not a recipe for a peaceful country.
