Canadian here. We sold our winter home is Palm Springs in 2025 and haven’t set foot in the US since. We used to spend upwards of $75k annually in the US on travel, food, clothing, entertainment & taxes. Instead we’ve spent it in Mexico, Curaçao, Japan, France, Sweden, and UK. And Canada of course.
