McDonald's is now reportedly pressuring franchisees to use AI to price food. Its CEO raked in $20.6M last year, over 1,000x the median McDonald's worker pay of $19,020. And they remain one of the largest employers of Medicaid and SNAP recipients. I'm not lovin' it.

This is a concern that I’ve spoken about several times as well, and Twitter randos always told me I was “overreacting” or “fear-mongering” I said this at the time, but it’s nice to have official confirmation. And I very much worry about US leadership in that scenario today.

Attorney General Todd Blanche secured his confirmation with a laughably flimsy memo promising President Trump's slush fund and Super Pardon was over. The only problem is the memo does nothing of the sort. Hear why this empty agreement leaves the door open to more extraordinary corruption.

Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” has been law for over a year now, and it’s clear who won: rich people and big corporations who got a giant tax cut. They benefited while health care and food assistance were ripped away from millions of families across the country. Don’t forget that.

Trump doesn’t force people to do bad things. All he did was show people they could get away with being horrible if they really wanted to, and a lot of powerful people decided they didn’t need to pretend anymore. Especially those in influential positions who could push back but did not.
