This is the closest I've ever been aroused by physical media. I adore this movie.

***ANNOUNCEMENT*** Coming on February 10th on #4K/Blu-ray dual format in Australia from @umbrellaent.bsky.social: #RoadGames (1981)! Pat Quid is a loan trucker who always plays games to keep his sanity on long hauls through the desolate Australian outback. Hitch is a free-spirited traveller

1984 is bizarre because twice that year movies that were fake sequels were released. Surf 2 was a joke because there was no Surf 1. Executioner 2 was a con to trick people who wanted to see Exterminator 2 around the same time. Has that ever happened before or after this year?

When this is all over and we truly find out how many people Trump raped and/or killed either first hand or through the people he hired, every Republican will say they didn't know or were against him the whole time. We will always know the truth.

The fact that Lyrics Born never broke through to the mainstream is a travesty . I honestly don't know anyone else that has had so much cross genre appeal. Maybe the U.S. just isn't ready for an Asian-American rapper.

Tom DeSimone (87) passed away on Saturday via medically-assisted euthanasia. A gay porn veteran of the 70s who was hired to direct a number of studio genre films (including the masterful HELL NIGHT, as well as ANGEL III, SAVAGE STREETS, and REFORM SCHOOL GIRLS), he was a quiet icon of queer cinema.

Lula: "We had to overcome foreign interference through digital platforms, which we will have to regulate. A crime in the digital world must be treated the same as a crime in the real world. We cannot have monstrous companies earning millions... not paying taxes... wanting to steer elections."

I don't define myself based on my own opinions. I'm defined by the people in my life and what they think of me. I live my life being humble and giving of myself in different ways. I'm not interested in how it all feeds my ego. It's about building my soul and spirit.

"Kids, I used to go to the pharmacy every day because it rented movies for the lowest price in town. For 3 weeks, I would ask for a copy of American Ninja 3. Every. Single. Day."

Netflix would mail DVDs right to your house and sometimes they just wouldn't have them because they didn't have enough copies

Kansas Dem Sen. nominee Adam Hamilton on trans rights: β€œI don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself”

I don't have any friends in real life in small town Indiana. I have very few family members I talk too. Honestly the only people I count as "My People" are on here. But even then, there are so few of you who actually act like I exist. I really don't wish this kind of loneliness on anyone.

He is definitely at Charles Manson level mentally

Trump on Anna Paulina Luna: "She's a beautiful person, but I don't say that she's beautiful, because if you say that, it's the end of your political career! So I will not say that she's beautiful. But she is beautiful. Beautiful inside and out. So I'm a supporter."

I just had a screaming match today with a coworker because he thinks saying the N word just means a lazy person of any color. This is after admitting he called a black coworker that word. I couldn't find a manager anywhere after the incident. The last thing I said to him was

Disagree big time with Siskel and Ebert here. Phantasm II is one of the best sequels in the franchise!

Consumer advocacy groups further argue that the loophole Paxton created hits veterans and military families especially hard by allowing lenders to avoid the protections of the Military Lending Act, which shields service members and their dependents from high interest rates by capping them at 36%.

Man, if filmmakers really think A.I. is inevitable, they must also think their movies looking like absolute dogshit is predestined. Yeah no, you’re right, we need to get out of the way of your utter career implosion. Consider this me taking a full step to the side so you can careen off a cliff.

Popeye. I always tell people that was my first film. I fell asleep for a lot of it and I don't remember where I saw it. I was 3. What I do remember is my mother telling me that my grandfather died on the way home. Why she decided to do it then is beyond me.

First one I am 100% sure of is BLACKBEARD'S GHOST in a '73/'74 re-release. I am told I thought it was "hilarious," but all I remember is the poster.

I'm a big fan of Scranton PA's own Cynthia Rothrock. Even when a movie she's in is dumb, she shines. And I think I came up with a good description of her default character: she's Bruce Lee crossed with Cindy Lauper.
