CDC Deputy Director Dr. Jennifer Shuford is leaving after 6 months in the position. One person said it’s a family issue. Another said it’s because she disagrees with RFK Jr.’s anti-vaccine actions. My guess is that something terrible prompted this and we’ll find out what after the election.

They refused to vote strategically to save the things they say they care about. They didn't appreciate having 2.4 MN hectares of old growth under a moratorium. That will now be logged so fast it will make their heads spin. I have seen this rodeo before. The logs will be shipped raw overseas.

For every moron that voted conservative in BC today you deserve every rotten thing they will do to you & your community. Within 18 months the separatists will descend & you can feel the divide like Alberta has. No pride flags allowed. Some book banning. Oversight in municipalities. Lies daily. Enjoy

A damned fine question.
Elon Musk routinely inserts himself into Canadian politics. Despite this, Canada’s political class continues to use Twitter — legitimizing him and his far-right talking points. Canadian politicians need to make a choice: either they support Elon Musk, or their constituents. It can’t be both.

Crazy that BC voters couldn’t learn from the Conservative chaos next door in Alberta. Low voter turnout opened the door for right wing extremism. Next stop blaming immigrants for every problem and destroy world class cycling infrastructure to appease the wealthy motonormative elites.

If you wonder about MAGA diehards imagine an old woman still denying she allowed her husband to rape her daughter. Admitting it would mean accepting responsibility for those visited horrors.
When Trump urged Ramaswamy to keep running the vile attack ad featuring Amy Acton’s estranged mother, the message to survivors of sexual abuse was unmistakable. Her mother defended Acton’s stepfather after he was accused of raping her starting at 9 years old, and lost custody of Acton & her brother.

Ford's failed policies caused my daughter to be out of commission for a full 2 years after a knee injury. And despite his promise that health care in ON is covered by "your OHIP card, not your credit card", we paid thousands for her rehab. I don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth.

Toronto mayoral candidate Brad Bradford has a slew of bad supporters, like the CEO of Shopify and the founder of Rebel News. @desmondcole.bsky.social explains that we should judge politicians by the company they keep—and Bradford’s has questionable friends. youtube.com/shorts/En3PJ...

Canada is moving away from Elon Musk’s Starlink, committing roughly $5 billion to Telesat and expanding satellite partnerships with Europe, South Korea and Norway. Carney cited Ukraine’s Starshield restrictions as a warning against relying on one provider.

Because it’s how conservatives always do politics. Here’s the group that’s ruining your lives. Be angry at them! (Not at the people actually ruining your lives…who donate a lot to is). We’re the only ones who can help you because we also hate those people. It’s us…or Armageddon. Choose.
Crime is down. Toronto is objectively a safe place. Why does Bradford want us scared? www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/artic...

Alberta has had conservative governments forever, except for 4 yrs of NDP There are many who will tell you that those 4 yrs were a disaster They are wrong From 2015 - 2019 we had funded healthcare & education, our roads were fixed, municipalities were funded & none of this separatist nonsense #ableg

Being absolutely pedantic, the "block" on their supposed "path to prosperity" was the collapse of global oil prices in 2014. It had fuck all to do with Trudeau.
From Danielle Smith's address last night. At the risk of being pedantic, it seems worth noting that a) it wasn't a coalition and b) the confidence-and-supply agreement was only in place for two and a half years.
