Corporations spend more than $1.5 billion a year on union-busting. That’s $1.5 billion they could have spent on higher wages, better benefits, and improving workplace safety. Remember: if they weren’t so scared of worker power, they wouldn’t fight so hard against unions.

Please blow up the public comment (included below): BREAKING NEWS (7/15) — The administration wants to destroy Chaco Canyon without consulting Tribal Nations. It’s an irreplaceable historic & cultural site with 4,700 archeological sites that could be lost to the bulldozers of oil & gas development

This please.

Hey, Dems, let's do this: Instead of centrists freaking out about the success of progressives, maybe we could take Mamdani as a model and focus on listening to and delivering for the voters. What if we had big competition among candidates to see who could do most for voters? Just imagine.

Republican C-SPAN caller: “It’s hard for me to say this, but I think if I can open up about it in public it might help others… I regret my support for Trump, and I should’ve known better. He’s a con man. A liar. The worst, most corrupt president we’ve ever had.”

Ok, this is really crazy scary, if true. Are there any Republican in US house and Senate who actually care about our country?!?

WOW: A stunning new report in the WSJ reveals that military advisers intentionally excluded Donald Trump from the command room during the recent high-stakes operation to extract a downed U.S. airman in Iran, because they feared his erratic behavior could jeopardize the mission. 1/

I don’t follow college sports as much as I used, and having UCLA in the Big Ten is something I’ll probably never adjust to.

I felt like staying home today but went to one of the smaller #NoKings rallies in the Twin Cities, not the huge one in St. Paul. Was glad I did. Just seeing the many people out lifted my spirits and re-energized me to keep fighting for our democracy.

Social movement scholar here to comment on No King again. a 🧵: These protests are important b/c: 1.) as sustained image events, protests offer evidence of continued disapproval of the direction the country is going and disavowal of the country's leadership.
