this is what i'm talking about. you need to be paying attention to this, since it will change the video games industry very shortly. this reddit vid from 19 days ago (src: kent1146) shows steamos on an ayn thor, launching+playing BALL X PIT w no problems. you can get a compatible thor for ~$350.

i think we're 3-5 years out from this seriously hitting, and it'll likely collide with the "proliferation of cheap arm64 chinese dockable handhelds running x86 games via steamos/FEX and-or other linux"... ...but as soon as the UX for those devices becomes more immediate (and it will)? yup. agreed.
