Thank you @vanhollen.senate.gov for supporting fair housing groups who work in our communities to support people facing housing insecurity, discrimination, & redlining. These groups help ⬆️ the supply of fair, safe, and affordable housing in the communities where they serve.

Senator Chris Van Hollen@vanhollen.senate.gov

Glad to see a federal judge stop the Trump admin's illegal attempts to weaken anti-discrimination guardrails in housing. Fair housing groups are essential to ensuring housing remains accessible to all. HUD must promptly comply with this ruling & end these baseless attacks.

He says "Recent developments have also highlighted...many jurisdictions do not have the protocols in place to manage the development, release, and deployment of advanced frontier AI models, heightening risks for the financial sector and beyond." Yes, the U.S. is one of those jurisdictions.

Why aren’t Casey and Ron DeSantis under indictment for fraud? I’m really sick of all this abuse, misuse of power, corruption, and crime among elected officials. Florida needs to hold them accountable! They keep doing it because they keep getting away with it!

People n ed to stop voting for this world!

IT WAS NEVER THE IMMGRANTS IN SMALL BOATS The world is 700% richer than in 1970 but the average person is only 8% richer Because the richest 0.01% are 4000% richer We are all being robbed every second of every day, and it doesn't matter how much profit or growth there is It will never reach you

We marched for jobs, housing, the freedom to vote, economic justice, and democracy! We’re pressing forward to ensure this nation lives up to its promises and ideals. Glad to join @attorneybencrump.bsky.social @sen-marcmorial.bsky.social @lulacorg.bsky.social & other leaders in this fight!

Today, NFHA stood with partners from across the country at the March on Washington: Defend the Vote. We marched for democracy, fair housing, economic justice, and civil rights. We’re proud to stand together and keep this work moving forward. #MarchOnWashington2026

What an absolute angel who lived here among us.

This is who Dolly Parton was. ❤️ “My dad couldn’t read and write, so I wanted to do something to make him feel part of something special.” So she did. Dolly turned her love for her dad into the Imagination Library, putting more than 330 MILLION books into the hands of children.

What does it say about a nation that vilifies a man who stepped to stop brutality against a woman and who was unnecessarily (and to my mind illegally) murdered by law enforcement? What does it say about a nation that will not hold people who abuse their power accountable?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

"I was not shocked that he helped somebody. My shock is that he was murdered. And no one has given us the complete truth or anyone has been held accountable. And it's been 7 months! ... there was more effort in vilifying him than pursuing justice" -- Alex Pretti's parents

Special Purpose Credit Programs have opened up homeownership opportunities for thousands of people. Congress established them under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. The Trump Administration wants to remove them and that will only make homeownership less affordable and accessible for too many.

Seven federal regulators are rolling back support for Special Purpose Credit Programs that help expand fair access to credit and homeownership. NFHA strongly condemns this attack on fair lending protections. Read our statement: nationalfairhousing.org/nfha-stateme... #FairHousingIsTheLaw

Just saw The Color of Cola, directed by Stanley Nelson & Jacqueline Olive. An amazing docu about the 1st Black execs & leaders hired by Pepsi, their successes, & the challenges they faced. The directors R joined by Sheereen Miller-Russell after a screening @mvaaff.bsky.social for a talk. See it!

Than you @booker.senate.gov for leading a group of 32 Senators in standing up for fair housing. This is the kind of leadership we need in Congress. Demanding the production of documents behind this Administration's decisions & holding them accountable is the way to defend our democracy.

32 U.S. Senators are calling on HUD to protect funding for local fair housing organizations. These organizations handle more than 74% of housing discrimination complaints nationwide. NFHA commends lawmakers for standing up for fair housing. Read more: nationalfairhousing.org/nfha-commend...

If this administration gets its way, nonprofit fair housing enforcement organizations, that process 75% of the nation’s fair hsg complaints, will be defunded with many shutting their doors. We’re suing to protect these groups & ensure they receive the funds Congress appropriated to support them.

NFHA and the Massachusetts Fair Housing Center have filed a lawsuit challenging HUD's latest attempt to dismantle the primary federal funding program supporting local fair housing organizations. Learn more about what’s at stake: nationalfairhousing.org/lawsuit-to-h...

When I worked in WaPo Opinions in 2017-2018, senior editors specifically told junior editors not to factcheck Marc Thiessen and other MAGA columnists, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to publish anything by them at all, and “we need them for intellectual diversity.”

CNN: When you compare wage growth to inflation, which is now topping 4%, it doesn't feel as good. When inflation is outpacing wage growth by that much, it feels uncomfortable. It erases the gains. You're going in the wrong direction.

CEO pay is up 1,094% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 26%. Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?

This is simply incredible.

Never did I think I would see a cure for sickle cell in my lifetime. A friend of mine in fifth grade died from this disease. My parents kept me home from the funeral because they thought I was too young to handle it. Modern science is a miracle. www.wafb.com/2026/06/23/n...
