It's nope all the way down, through and above. All is nope. I am one with the nope. Gonna try and find the time and will to paint later. I've managed a session of covering burnt edges of MDF. Much more to do.

A written companion piece to go with my #Welsh Halloween recommendations 🦇 Get to know each game a little better before you decide which one will be the cause of new underwear this weekend! 👻 walesingames.com/2026/10/25/5...

walesingames.com5 games for a Welsh Halloween - 2026 edition - Wales in GamesA number of Welsh-related spooky games have released in the past year. Make your Halloween a Welsh one with these five games!

It's great that as a species we've fixed so many things. A random cut not likely to get infected and kill me. Off weather doesn't mean starving in winter (well...), life generally less drafty and more comfortable. But why along the way did it seem okay to add so many new vexing things?

I do not wish to be vexed. I wish to turn up the heating a bit, be able to find some clothes that are comfortable, do something fun to pass the time and maybe occasionally eat something a bit too sugary to be good for me.

Hobby life goal achieved! Every miniature I own. All assembled and painted. All 1036. No backlog. No more minis to paint. All done. Until I get more. Whenever that may be. #tabletopgames #tabletopgaming #paintingminiatures #wargames #hobbystreak #warmongers #hobbyprogress #dragon #nerdlings

Last night I hobbied and chatted for a bit along the way with folks from a discord. It was all rather lovely. My pre printed MDF from Sarissa has a bunch of the exposed laser cuts roughly colour matched. Plenty to go but already looking better for it. Before and after shots from different days.

This week's treat has been feeling like a cold is trying to get it's claws into me as I'm far more tired than makes sense and a dose of lower back pain to random rolled amounts the last three days. It's really helping my grumpy old man mystique.

Possibly the best mini photo I've ever taken. Given a vignette effect but otherwise modified. The paint job also tuned out far better than I'd really been aiming at too. Sometimes everything just clicks. Mini from Black scorpion

Hiss! Happy Wednesday everyone! Quote post me, and show me you vampires this morning! This one is from @weprintminiatures.com #paintingminiatures #miniatures #dnd #vampire #fantasy #wepaintminis

I did not like the puddle base so I removed it and that was far more effort than I was really expecting when I set off.... But glad I did. Caught the tail a little with the saw so will need some light repairs. Otherwise, majestic.

Just in case anyone thinks that this was a reasonable response, here's my prior email which said quite explicitly that I have attended many times before, and that the reason for my non-attendance was explicitly their lack of AI policy and protections.

eBay users! Don't ignore today's email, even though it looks like a boring standard update to the User Privacy Notice. They want to use your data to train AI models. If you click the link over the words "the right to object", it takes you to a page with a toggle button letting you opt out.

Last nights dreaming had me running around some sort of Jurassic park type place after things had started going wrong and I was being all main character heroic. Anyways that was cool and reckon my day peaked before I woke up 🦖

I see Scale75 are continuing to shit the bed on Instagram, claiming that they paid an 'artist' to create some AI slop for them. At least it's not nazi chibi dolls this time, I guess 🤷‍♀️

Can we get a fantasy offshoot strip in 2000ad verse of Judge Dredd, Judge Dryadd. Force of nature re-wilds illegal settlement's aggressively enforcing the scales of justice for nature.

I will hopefully get better pictures at some point but having all four of these painted and sitting on my desk... Had to get a quick shot. Feels good.

Bit of time off last weekend. Didn't do a huge amount of hobby but did finish off this gnome of the undead persuasion from a 2020 Kickstarter. Which is now 100% painted. Not many companies I have minis from at 100% painted but a few could be achieved without insurmountable horror. Group shot later

Finished this build in 2 days for the #diecast meet this weekend. The build off theme is Hallowagons. Actually, it's Halloween Station Wagons, but I like my theme better. The Jack O'Hammer has swapped wheels, graffiti decals, shading on chrome parts, detailed headlights and taillights
