You’re gonna want to see what the BlueSky guys have decided is too intolerant for you to read.

Brazil going the way of South Korea. Basically around the world women are desperately trying to keep power out of the hands of incredibly stupid fascistic grifters while men keep trying to hand it over. Men are an embarrassing cringe gender.

Completely off the Guardian and BBC news front pages. And, yeah, other news has happened, sure. But, again, I invite the reader to consider what sort of news would be bumped off the top spot if this had been, say, Seamus Milne working with the IRA.

So... That Turning Point/UVF documentary with all the people admitting to actual crimes is going nowhere except the memory hole then, huh? Damn, you'd think that'd be at least one or two real journalists in the country capable of feeling shame about what that says about the industry.

China’s first AI-generated theatrical film, ‘Sanxingdui: Future Past’, has bombed at their domestic box office, only making $121,000 USD against a budget of $1.5M USD. In contrast, the crudely animated ‘Niu Lai’ made nearly $10M USD against a budget of $200-500 USD.

I did enjoy it a bit more this time, without fully loving it. Definitely worth slightly bumping up my previous score of 3 to a 3.5 out of 5. It's a bit derivative and predictable story-wise, but the cast are mostly very good (Charlie Hunnam aside) and it looks gorgeous.

104) RW: Crimson Peak (2015, dir. Guillermo del Toro) #Filmsky 📽️ I didn't mind this when it came out, but certainly wasn't as sold on it as a lot of people. I've been saying for ages I should give it another go, so here we are.

So much to say about Brazil, not least of which is the role that Erika Hilton, a Black trans leader and most voted woman politician in Brazil, played in mobilizing folks for Lula. She was behind the critical, concrete, economic promise of shorter work-week. theprint.in/feature/erik...

This is indeed very silly but entertaining. Really good cast.

102) RW: Identity (2003, dir. James Mangold) #Filmsky 📽️ Haven't seen this since it came out. I feel like it was entertaining but a bit silly. Interested to see what I make of it now Also not sure I'd have considered it a horror, but this one's not my choice lol

Very specifically, on this point, this means if you are part of SUTR and don't want to be part of a black bloc, discuss it with your comrades, but DON'T WRITE PUBLIC STATEMENTS ABOUT IT. Likewise, if you're a militant antifascist and think SUTR's tactics suck DON'T WRITE PUBLIC STATEMENTS ABOUT IT.

11. To that point: we need antifascists of all stripes TO STOP SHIT-TALKING EACH OTHERS TACTICS PUBLICLY. Legitimate criticisms and arguments will occur. So will a load of bullshit. But these should be treated with discretion, and with the understanding that FASCISM IS AN EXISTENTIAL THREAT.

This is real wallet-inspector stuff. The MoD asked *Palantir* to tell them how to buy tech. And Palantir, which has done very well out of non-competitive procurement, said: ‘yes, more of that please’.

And This is exactly why Burnham will fail- he does not want to confront these people. HeMs terrified of them, and he thinks he can accommodate them. He’s deeply, deeply wrong.

In his acceptance speech, Lula says he will work to regulate digital platforms in Brazil. “Digital crimes must be dealt with like real-life crimes.” This comes after Meta directly interfered with the Brazilian elections, favouring Flávio Bolsonaro.
