OBAMA: That just feels a little bit different… where people are so sick and tired of being sick and tired. After 2 years of chaos. and cruelty. and corruption. and incompetence—you get a chance to say enough's enough.

Billionaires should not be making decisions critical to national security. That’s straightforward. And the case of Elon Musk and his attempt to undermine Ukraine makes that clearer than ever. Recent events, that is in the past 24 hours, really don’t

Tarrant County, Texas just closed 92 Election Day polling places. Before 2013, Texas needed federal sign-off to change how its people vote. John Roberts wrote the ruling that ended that. That’s his fingerprint on every closed door.

I'm a doctor and a dad. I rebuilt Detroit's health department, led Wayne County's Department of Health, Human and Veterans Services. We put glasses on kids, took on corporate polluters, eliminated medical debt. It just shouldn't be this hard to get by in the richest country in the world.

the routine, pay for play pardons are all by themselves one of the worst corruption scandals in american history!

Don Moynihan@donmoyn.bsky.social

My brain cannot process this level of corruption. She was being paid $50 million to engineer a pardon from Trump *while working at the Justice Department* as a "Special Government Employee." And it worked. He got the pardon, and she got the money. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/20/u...

Ukraine was winning the war, so Trump kneecapped Ukraine to help Russia. I wish it weren’t that simple, but it is. Our president is in bed with our enemies.

Republicans and Democrats, together, should regard this week’s developments as the last straw. There’s serious competition, but the Soviet Union could claim the title of modern history’s most monstrous regime. It killed tens of millions and enslaved hundreds of millions more. In

Trump waiving sanctions against Russia is the most predictable thing ever. The silence of some GOP elected officials is likewise the most predictable thing. Throw the trash out in November. This isn’t funny anymore

Before 2024, no court in American history had ruled a president immune from prosecution. Then John Roberts wrote that ruling. He has a lifetime seat. The only thing that can touch it is Congress. Via impeachment. Which we should use. To impeach John Roberts. Agreed?

Rep. Delia C. Ramirez has introduced a bill that would abolish not just ICE, but the DHS altogether, repealing the 2002 law establishing the agency and replacing it with one focused on protecting civil and human rights.

Trump said he would start paying for the political TV ads himself, but the White House clarified that he won’t pay back the federal government for what’s already been spent. About $11.5 million had already been spent airing the ads as of midday Tuesday, October 6th.

By lopping off his full replies and interweaving explanatory narrative, reporters often wind up sanitizing Trump’s babbling

An “interview” denotes responsive answers — not a stream of non sequiturs, insults, and outbursts. A few commentators ventured that the session was “grievance”-filled or “emotional,” but even that falsely suggests some orderly presentation of reality-based complaints in response to questions

Can’t believe our tax dollars are being used for political ads. The White House is now airing a taxpayer-funded ad during commercial breaks on Fox News. The 30-second spot has all the markings of a campaign ad, except the disclaimer at the bottom says: “Paid for by the U.S. Government.”

NYT has now independently corroborated all the major allegations against Susan Collins in the ProPublica report, including that investigators were prepared to move against her and then Trump intervened to shut it down. This put Trump in a position of exceptional and extortionate leverage over her.

Ken Paxton’s former top cop on why he’s voting for James Talarico: I spent 2 hours with James Talarico. Number one, I saw no deception. He answered all my difficult questions. He didn’t dodge anything. I think he’s the man who needs to go to Washington DC, and Ken Paxton needs to go home.

Deliberately crashing the American economy—costing American families well over $5,000 each—and then promising to pay those families back $5,000 but *only if* they keep letting him abuse them and the country for two more years... ...is some *seriously* dark, domestic-abuser shit.

Yes, Trump is a horror. But he was elected a second time, after people saw what he did the first time. Sure, we can blame Trump, but a large portion of the American people are really to blame. It makes me sad and embarrassed to say that, but we all know it’s true.

Democrat down the ballot!

YES. Your president really said this. He thinks ALL Federal money should go to “defense”, and our State governments should tax us for health, education, roads and everything ELSE that Americans rely on government FOR. THINK about that BEFORE you VOTE. Don’t go by what they SAY. WATCH WHAT THEY DO!!
