Twenty years ago, in July 2005, I began my journey as a Spring consultant with Interface21. Today, I am excited to start a new chapter with Rod Johnson and his latest venture, Embabel. I look forward to bringing my experience in API design to the table and contributing to something great.

@jbaru.ch talks about the big issue with quality and correctness of code written by AI, and suggests to fix by writing tests but not by LLMs, but with #Cucumber. Do you agree? #DevoxxPL #AI #LLM #BDD #Gherkin #tessl

Saw @jbaru.ch on technical enshittification at @jcon.one. Why is software bloated & stagnant? Too little coding time, constant interruptions, artificial deadlines, and technical debt. The remedy? Tight feedback loops, fewer distractions, and writing maintainable code for the future you.

We’re going to close out @geecon.bsky.social with a bang. Leonid Igolnik and I will tackle the intent-to-prompt chasm and how to align AI and expertise in our "Intent Integrity: Aligning Intent, Expertise, and AI" keynote. It’s not about better prompts — it’s about knowing what shouldn’t change.

Every time I fly, I always pick a window seat. I stare out of it and watch the world go by. We live in such a beautiful world. It’s big enough for all of us.

Prefer clear code over clever code. Don't mistake terse for concise. Terse code is short, cryptic, clever, and is often error prone. Concise code is clear, simple, and easy to understand and change.
