The United States used to be a great country. Now we are a pitiful disgrace to humanity.

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff to Vladimir Putin today: “You talk so much about Trump being a humanitarian, you are a humanitarian also, sir. And I salute that. I commend you.”

He should have gone to prison for pressuring Brad Raffensperger to “find” 11,780 votes. That’s the very definition of election interference. We all heard the call.

You might say that people should develop some political credibility at the local level before running for the goddam U.S. Senate.

Here are Italian PM Meloni's remarks about Trump, translated to English: "Donald Trump's statements are completely made up. I am frankly stunned. I don't know why the president of the United States behaves this way with his own allies..."

The Trump administration continues to try to weaponize immigration law against Mahmoud Khalil, so we need them to know that the world is watching. Add your name to our petition to the Board of Immigration Appeals demanding they re-open and terminate the sham immigration case against Mahmoud.

action.aclu.orgTell the BIA: Justice for Mahmoud KhalilMahmoud Khalil has been harassed, targeted, punished, and denied his right to a fair and full trial in immigration court. The Trump administration has had its thumb on the scale the whole time. Demand justice for Mahmoud Khalil.

I'm sure there are 2 other permanent members of the Security Council taking notes on what you can get away with when starting an unprovoked war on the civilian population of another country.

If this were Biden, the press would be talking about nothing else.

Q: What is your response to critics who say that your mental health should perhaps be examined as this war continues? Trump: I haven't heard that

It's really quite amazing. Every single day Trump and his flunkies find another way to be evil.

The Trump administration on Thursday repealed the endangerment finding, a scientific determination that underpins the federal government’s legal authority to combat climate change. Here’s what to know about the endangerment finding and why it matters.

It’s not just that they are murdering people who are peacefully protesting, it’s that they then stand in front of the cameras and slander the victims by telling us that what we see on the videos didn’t happen.

All my life we've heard explanations and justifications from the police after an "incident." For most of that time it was their word against the victims'. For the past 10 or 15 years we've had video from multiple angles, but the police keep telling us the same stories. They think we can't see it.

A person who said they witnessed federal agents shoot and kill Alex Jeffrey Pretti submitted a sworn statement in court disputing the federal government’s account of the shooting. “I have read the statement from DHS about what happened and it is wrong,” the person said in the statement.

BREAKING: Trump’s thugs just shot and killed a man in Minneapolis. Eyewitnesses are describing it as an execution. We cannot keep living like this and people can’t keep dying like this. Stop funding DHS. Impeach Kristi Noem. Hold these agents accountable.

Trump is doing everything he can to destroy #NATO. He is making #Putin’s dreams come true. Over the past 11 years Trump has never done anything to show he is not Putin’s puppet.

Trump has always acted as Putin's agent and will continue to do so. It was never a "hoax."

Trump has approved a 28-point plan to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. “The deeply troubling details now circulating show what Trump wants: to help the Russian president,” Phillips Payson O’Brien argues, “and to weaken Ukraine, perhaps fatally.”

Argentina First

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Q: What do you have to say to farmers who feel that the deal is benefitting Argentina more than it is them? TRUMP: Look, Argentina is fighting for its life, young lady. You don't know anything about it. You understand what that means? They are dying

FIFA should take the entire World Cup away from the US. Too many fans and players from abroad are going to be denied visas or otherwise have problems.

PBS News@pbsnews.org

World Cup host sites aren’t up to President Donald Trump. The 11 U.S. cities — plus three in Mexico and two in Canada — are contracted with FIFA, which would face significant logistical and legal issues to make changes in the eight months before the June 11 kickoff. https://to.pbs.org/3J0dtaK

I've been expecting something like this to happen. It's only going to get worse.

Breaking News: President Trump moved to fire the official in charge of jobs data, claiming, without evidence, that labor numbers were being “manipulated.”

This kind of thing didn't happen when Biden was President.

Trump to America's kids: "Suck it!"

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump on China: "They made a trillion dollars with Biden selling us stuff. Much of it we don't need. Somebody said, 'oh, the shelves are gonna be open.' Well, maybe the children will have two dolls instead of 30 dolls, and maybe the two dolls will cost a couple of bucks more."

This is a betrayal of everything our country should stand for.

Watching the main German evening news program, and the word that keeps coming up in relation to US policies is "unberechenbar" (capricious, erratic, unpredictable). Europeans have had it with #Trump. The reputation of the US is damaged for a long time to come.
