Anyone who uses Spotify interested in trying a @triptunes.bsky.social beta that has the ability to export playlists to Spotify? I didn't add Spotify for a long time due to their anti-indie rules, but found a service that bridges the gap. DM me your email addy and I'll add you to the TestFlight!

Had an established app stuck waiting for review for a week. I had a deadline to hit so decided to try expedited review request hoping it’d be done in a couple days. Ended up going into review 20 mins later and approved in 3 mins?! Weird stuff going on lately.

Added a Trip Tunes feature I’m pretty excited about. DM me your email if you want the TestFlight! I’ve improved how the app finds local artists along your route, and playlists for faraway places have gotten really interesting. So I added an optional wall for sharing them. Thoughts?

Ok...am I losing it completely or did the 1-1 remote labs get a lot thinner this year? Last year I was able to chat with them about ML/Vision and other interesting things. This year I only see the 'please feature my app' or business strategy type of labs. I mean, I get it, but it still sucks.

I've been working on a macOS app to track accomplishments without the weight of a time tracker or TODO list. It's a quick-entry 'where the hell did the time go today?' tool that uses on-device models to summarize work for standups, EOY reviews, etc. Would love some TestFlight users. LMK!

Even tho I use them all day I have very little concept of what makes a good UI for a MacOS app. iOS seems so much easier to feel out. I guess it’s because macOS app UI just doesn’t have a lot of depth - it’s very utilitarian and consistent.

Anyway, I have a pretty boring looking accomplishment tracking app I’m working on if anyone is interested in beta testing. It’s actually pretty useful - for me it helps answer ‘where the hell did my time go today?’ without the pressure of a time tracking or TODO app.

You shall not fucking pass!

The Lord of The Rings movies were rated PG-13. By current rules that means that each film could contain one use of the word "Fuck". Which line are you altering to insert the most useful swear word? "I can't carry it for you, but I can Fucking carry you"

Damn it has been a week between an emergency project at work and a trip to the emergency vet last night. I've not gotten to watch much yet - but there are a few goodies from WWDC that I'm excited to play with. Finally got to install Xc26 and at least my apps build and don't look too crazy 👌

I’ve been super busy so far this week and have not had time to play so far. Is it true that you can’t use Foundation Model Framework without updating your dev machine to macOS 26? I was looking forward to messing with that but that will slow me down. 🙁

The Lighthouse formation blocking out the sun at Palo Duro Canyon. I snapped this with my phone on vacation a couple weeks ago and really like it.

A month ago if you played a single song in Apple Music, it would essentially create a station from that song and continue playing. Now it just loops the song. Am I dreaming or was that a change? Is there some setting that controls it?

Sent messages to my devil-spawn representatives about the DOE and school vouchers (for state reps). Felt fairly pointless but at least it gets tallied? LLMs make customizing these easy. Will follow these up with calls, tho not to Ted Cruz because the revulsion to futility ratio is too much 🤮

Threw together a blog and a post about my experience promoting my indie app. I thought it would be interesting to share some specific data on the impact of the App Store feature and broadcast news segments. Let me know what you think! www.jefframes.com/trip-tunes-e...

Boy it sure is hard to read the news these days. If it helps just a little, here is a picture I took this weekend of a baby goat using a sleeping pig as a climbing apparatus.

First contract of 2025....... falls through. (I'm fine! But always planning 3-6 months in advance is something.) I don't suppose you could use some Swift 6 training/workshops/consultation? I've worked with large teams all the way down to individuals. I'd love to talk!

Any interest in a post covering the numbers and strategies around my indie app getting an Apple feature and various other publicity? It’d mostly be depressing but perhaps interesting.

I guess it’s been a bit since I last checked on the Pebble. Not doing great! The band started…melting. I guess the plastic didn’t have a long shelf life.
