Remember the 90s Schwarzenegger movie Eraser?
Or the Charlie Sheen alien conspiracy thriller The Arrival?
Or Keanu as Johnny Mnemonic?
Well all three of these received FMV adventure games that CRUSHED MY ENTIRE SOUL IN UNIQUE AND HELLISH WAYS.
My suffering distilled into 90 minutes, just for you:
Caught between wanting to finish the next video in time and doing whatever a Bobvember is, and wanting to wake up on a particular day in December, waiting for the taxi to the airport so I can spend the holidays and my birthday with my family for the first time in 20+ years.
I don't get Youtube views at all. In our Indieween series, Day 7 (the Game Boy-esque The Third Shift) has noticeably more views than the rest of the series and Day 5 (Exit 8) has drastically fewer views. Why? Who knows?

Updated "action mode": Creating RURAL SAFETY ZONES, currently represented by the pink 3D sphere that pops up early on. Picking up orbs increases the kite's tail length, and cutting the tail makes LOVE BOMBS rain down - ideally, the 3D sphere would rise up with each explosion, that doesn't work yet
I'm trying to solve a hard to Google small mystery. In the opening logos for Cryo's dreadful Frank Herbert's Dune, developed by Widescreen Games in 2001, it shows the logo for Renderware, but above it something called Rainbow.
What the hell is Rainbow?
By the kind donation from viewer HappyAxie, we were able to spent an evening in an almost abandoned movie theatre watching the latest Street Fighter. Hear our somewhat belated thoughts in an unorganised review. Did anyone fight a street in the movie? No, but it's the thought that counts!
Please share this message from Sakher :
"Iโm lost between my family, my studies, and life in a tent. My father is sick, winter is coming, and we have no warm clothes, proper shelter, or money for rent. ๐ข
Please donโt leave me alone in this struggle. Even $10 can help us survive. ๐"

Today more disquieting/horror with a couple of ultraobscure titles: Blackout, a stop motion point and click adventure from Denmark and Bloodline, a 2005 Silent Hill inspired romp from the Czech Republic, a pain to get to run.
Miss out at your own risk. 6.30 PM : www.twitch.tv/thegenesiste...

Actions speak louder than words, personally I was in talks with Epic to get all my game assets on their Fab.com marketplace (for free) but cancelled the deal immediately. If they want slop, let them have slop.
Between Tim Sweeney being an absolute AI chud and the harassment of our beloved @kenney.nl, we've decided to cancel our previously announced Epic Games Store release for Shape Sender Deluxe ๐ฎ

I *think* I can make it to Wednesday on the money I have now...but to help me be sure, chuck some money in my PayPal and I'll draw something for you! PayPal.me/ajmckenna
I'd love to get 5 more responses on this quick survey. That'll take it to 50, which is, of course, the number of strangers whose preferences you should definitely structure the next decade of your life around
I'm trying to gauge interest in a potential project. Can I ask for your help, please?
It's a two-question multiple-choice survey, it'll take 30 seconds, I won't get your name or email, you can do it in an incognito window.
Please be honest! A broad range of truthful responses will be most helpful.
Writing is fun because you'll have like a rough outline that in your head think should probably work and then you have to go an actually type and in your head now all you hear is screaming and then you black out and wake up with several paragraphs and in your head you go "see, that wasn't so hard."
tbh if you're someone making videos on YT especially making videos about things you made using coding on YT it might be worthwhile to lead with a "made by humans, no generative AI was used in the creation of this video/game/whatever" splash screen
