Fuck everything. I occasionally stream on Twitch. GenX She/Her, cis I'm me everywhere because I'm not very original. Sometimes I make things. Mostly I buy supplies to make things, & then don't make the things. Header image is a resin cabochon I made.

Hey, did you know there's an alternative to ChatGPT that makes sense economically and doesn't destroy the environment? It's called English majors and they will happily fix all of your documents for the low price of health insurance and a living wage.

You first, NYTimes. I didn't help get him elected; you did. Now that you smell blood in the water, you'll go for the throat and pretend you were always against him. We will remember.

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

GOSH, CAN'T IMAGINE WHY MY OUTPUT MIGHT HAVE FALLEN OFF RECENTLY. COMPLETE FUCKIN' MYSTERY. GUESS I'LL BRING MY LAPTOP AND WORK THROUGH THE VACATION MY MOTHER SCHEDULED BUT DIDN'T LIVE TO SEE. THANKS, YOU'RE THE BEST.

Funny how everyone was fine with my work and all my evaluations were stellar before the colleague who had never liked me got elevated to supervisor. 🤔

Medical professionals: I really need you to reword your bots, because if you text me, "Remember to complete your tasks before your 1pm appointment tomorrow," I am 100% never fucking doing my fucking "tasks."

Between real life shit and side questing myself to death, I've run out of steam at what I suspect is very nearly the end of Control: Resonant.

I have appointments almost every day this week and I'm already grumpy and tired and annoyed I haven't finished my video game about it.

How do I know shit is bad right now? Way fewer Spirit Halloween stores this year, even though there's certainly enough empty storefronts.

I spent more effort than was reasonable to make a pair of Spirit Halloween earrings wearable. And I'm not even happy with the outcome.

It hangs awkwardly from the hook, and I didn't have a vertically-drilled briolette bead, so i had to do a wrapped loop. The bead that came on the earrings was vertically drilled, but it had an AB coating I didn't care for.

Check out how easy this is.

Kansas Dem Sen. nominee Adam Hamilton on trans rights: “I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself”

Lula has been reelected president, Brazilian media has now called. An extraordinary comeback for the left-wing politician who trailed by 2 points in round 1 but managed to hold off Flávio Bolsonaro, the former president's son.

Bill Maher had lunch with Donald Trump again. It’s beyond belief that someone would so willingly sit down for a meal with such a reprehensible piece of shit. But I’m sure Trump had his reasons.

NEW: At least 18 voting centers in Alaska Native communities have not opened despite early voting having already started in the state last week. “There is no legal excuse for the failure to open these sites,” one state senator wrote to the Alaska elections chief.

In Brazil voting is mandatory, so the State must provide free transportation to all on election day. In at least 7 states, public transportation was sabotaged by a number of right wing prefectures resulting in potentially irreversible damages to Brazilian democracy.

This. And if most Americans weren't aware of this in 2019, I'd guess they're even less so now. Public university students were paying for a third of the cost of their education in 2009, and it was up to half by 2019. 2009 wasn't great compared to the 60s-70s, either. www.pbs.org/newshour/edu...

Watched Phenomena with friends tonight. I'd wanted to see it for a while but was worried the bugs would be too much. I survived. I prefer Suspiria, but it was certainly an experience.

Had the sudden urge while I was out to run to Spirit Halloween and see what accessories I could buy that would let me make a costume out of my own clothes. Et voila. This is going to go very well with my @mayakern.com crystal skirt.

Early voting was BUSY, y'all. Unfortunately, it was busy largely with the elderly, in an overwhelmingly red county, so... 😬 We'll just have to wait & see. Notably, a lot of them didn't seem to know how to use the machines.
