This is great, because most parents think of their children as callous dullards who hate animals, so it's really picked out the traits that makes her daughter unique, here.

cool, cool

I was wondering why using Claude felt so weirdly different today, and I just couldn't put my finger on it. Turns out Anthropic decided to switch the sans serif typeface in the app over night, and now the chat interface looks ever so slightly different. 😄

This US administration’s whitewashing of Russian atrocities will go down in history as a dark and shameful chapter. I can only hope Trump is impeached and held accountable for his actions.

Maybe the most amazing aspect of the Russo-Ukraine War is that Russia is getting backing from both China and the USA, the two largest powers of the moment--and Ukraine could still emerge triumphant as long as Europe backs it stoutly.

That there is no one in the whole organization who could say: "Ladies. Gentlemen. These examples do look quite desperate, if I may so myself. Do we have anything actually useful to show, or should we, perchance, skip this during the presentation?" is so, so very Corporate America in 2026, too.

Three observations from yesterday's Apple Event that show how detached Silicon Valley people are from normal life and how they want to force technology on everyday interactions, always searching for things to solve that need no solving 🫠

Scenario 2: Using AI to auto-translate an encounter with a friendly stranger in a public place, instead of… idk… just act friendly and take or refuse the damn flyer lol

Scenario 3: Using AI & wearables to recall what a waiter just told you instead of… politely asking them to please say that again!? You are the guest, they are the host. They would gladly do that!? This is so ridiculous!

Scenario 1: Asking AI to recall a recipe from an older message is one thing, but then going to the market and asking AI to choose the right fruit instead of… idk… maybe talking to the fruit vendor?!

»But we gotta keep making the most unpleasant and unrelatable people on the planet rich. That’s the main driving force of the last decade. And it leaves us all poorer, not just economically but scientifically, spiritually and emotionally.« 💯

You’ll find that some “uncharted waters” are actually well charted but the people driving the boat are not interested in looking at maps, because wrecking ships is just part of nautical culture.

Reading a NL about AI & Design Systems and of course it‘s written by AI. The paragraph still looks normal. The sentences build upon each other. It stops being an engaging read altogether. 😑

this sounds like a very cool thing? 💙

communities are coming to Bluesky this year. today, Bluesky is one big space. communities will be smaller spaces inside that where you can go deeper and hang out with people who care about the same stuff.

This review perfectly sums up Widow’s Bay: “[…] a horror-comedy that manages to be both an incredibly funny and dense laugh-out-loud joke machine and a genuinely scary and menacing fright fest. Neither generic marker takes precedence over the other; they are mutually, ecstatically intertwined.”
