The dirty little open secret to writing is that no one will ever know, nor care, how many drafts of a thing were written - people will only ever care about the crafted thing, and will, despite all knowledge to the contrary, assume it came out fully formed that way. No one thinks about shit drafts.

If there’s one thing this country loves its movies/shows about Hollywood. Of course there is the occasional outlier. Hope this is one of them.

Oh, you mean like how the industry used to successfully function for decades?

Some things you can always count on in LA are traffic on the 405, the best sushi outside of Japan tucked away in a tiny strip mall, fresh produce, taco trucks worthy of a Michelin star, a group of girls in Ugg boots the minute it drops below 70 degrees, and that someone’s just about to flake on you.
