your token costs: lower
your server costs: lower
your bandwidth costs: lower
not to mention the fact that you'll ship in half the time and tear out less hair in the process. just use @svelte.dev, people. it's like other frameworks but better
We measured the LLM token cost of 5 frontend frameworks on identical components. Svelte wins, Angular costs 38% more โ and your AI bill feels it. #webdevelopment
Anyone else using gpt 5.6 sol with high on a 20 month plan, using up 5 hour limit after it completed a response with 18 min work time having 15 percent left and with 20 min ideal losing that 15 percent left?
The Vite plugin is now the official recommendation for Module Federation with Vite!

What happened?
We spent months exploring built-in MF support in Rolldown, even reimplemented MF 2.0 from scratch for both Rolldown and Vite.
What...

Anyone from the svelte community want to help with this TanStack Hotkeys PR? github.com/TanStack/hot...
Ideally, someone who really knows svelte 5 runes can give this a once over and make sure we're doing it the right way. I don't think we are offering the simplest working solution yet.

PSA: if you were using the Svelte Claude marketplace: we've renamed the repo which means that unfortunately you would not get updates if you added the marketplace as `sveltejs/mcp`.
Please remove the old marketplace and re-install `sveltejs/ai-tools`...it comes with a surprise ๐

I feel like AI is pushing everyone to a more senior role/ mind set. The software dev and engineering has never been about the code but the design and architecture. Just my opinion
Why I don't vibe code:
1. Software projects rarely fail due to low code volume.
2. More code and features won't reduce effort.
3. Messy code is a costly time killer.
4. It's easier to waste energy building the wrong thing.
Excited to see the Svelte custom rendering work get a sponsor! Additional sponsors are still required to fund the project, which will let Svelte run with Lynx JS
Thanks to SuppCo for supporting our Svelte Custom Renderers initiative ๐
When ready, this API will allow devs to use Svelte to build Native Apps, Terminal, or anything they want. If your company wants to help make custom renderers a reality, make sure to reach out!

Effect is made using generators and can handle sync and async together under generators, I mention this because I wonder if frontend frameworks could leverage this? Most likely they're already aware but off chance wanted to share.

I wish I could reply to every little sentence but over all sentiment progressives and libs need some type of answer for men, most of the rhetoric is hating men. Which draws only certain men and women... (This is my summarized perspective not completely based on the article)
this is an entertaining and thoughtful piece on an existentially important topic for society, so naturally ian has been turned into the main character by the most tedious, preening, comprehension-challenged people you could possibly imagine
So looking forward to this as I'm using svelte with biome but miss some of the nice features from prettier-plugin-svelte, like closing tags on the same line, ect.
We have started working on providing full support for @vuejs.org, @svelte.dev, @astro.build, and hopefully, @angular.dev as well. Subscribe and engage with the following issue

What is a good way to render or compile a svelte component with vite that gets me an output with css like static-adapter regardless of compiler option css "injected" or "external"?
the @svelte.dev team had our monthly all hands this morning and i am cackling at how good some of the stuff we've got planned is. like, frothing at the mouth cannot wait to use it
Thank for reminding me of @sveltiacms.app, and @dylanbeatt.ie I've been looking for a CMS that works with static GitHub pages hosting and GitHub sign in that works on mobile and desktop, was going to build my own, but now I don't have to. SveltiaCms has all the features I could want!
Why two separate accounts? Because @sveltia.dev is a Svelte library collection, but @sveltiacms.app is a standalone, framework-agnostic application. I should maybe rename the latter to avoid confusion ๐
Super nice, any vanilla js libs that needs element access, is just an attachment and a declarative lib can just be svelte component using attach with vanilla js lib
So, some of you may know that recently I'm working full time on the svelte renderer API thanks to the company I work for ( @mainmatter.com ).
This will unlock using Lynx to build native applications with svelte.
There's still a lot of work to do but isn't a counter the mother of all apps? ๐งก๐
hey up! I don't know if people would care, but I want to share a little sideproject I have been working on:
Alicarti, a framework to create multiplayer browser games.
Written in @bun.sh and @svelte.dev.
Code: github.com/vikkio88/ali...
little demo showcasing few games/apps
youtu.be/NIH1Rsx_7zk
I tried image generation, and it turned out to be...
a glorious tribute to Svelte's rise above the JS framework pyramid!
I love Svelte a lottt..๐๐
