Reading this Famitsu interview Uchikoshi did and it seems that the reason the Crash Keys game was canceled was because *Uchikoshi* wanted to use AI, not the publisher. This snippet is driving me nuts. Makes all the posturing with Hundred Line read extremely shallow.

The dogura thread on that Tekken 6 recomp is a funny read. The Japanese players are *very* angry, but not because they used AI and taking away opportunities from real devs. No they are mad because it wasn't official!

Mihara talking about Tekken 6 slopback netcode is so funny. Like fuck that project but his theoretical is just asking "what if your lobster was made too buttery? what if your steak was too juicy? all without your permission, you think that's fine?"

The Tekken 6 drama is so fascinating to me. The japanese community is crashing out over a rollback mod for T6 as being disrespectful towards developers copyright and a sign of moral inferiority. Meanwhile every day we get another japanese dev saying how hard they are leaning into AI for their games.
