To those people who get angry anytime Dems are criticized for their lack of fight, for pretending it's business as usual under Trump, please watch this. Corruption is not merely a Republican issue.

Sounds like Trump is preparing a set-up to call the elections 'rigged by Dems' if (when) Republicans lose bigly. This is how he works.
"So, in Alaska, if Peltola wins, her victory is inherently suspect and must be investigated. And in Minnesota, if Flanagan bests Tafoya, her victory is inherently suspect b/c Trump has declared that Tafoya canβt lose, period, unless Dems cheat. This is the long, stupid shadow of the 2020 election."
Who is ultimately responsible for Hegseth's war crimes? His boss, the Commander-in-chief.
HEGSETH FOR IMPEACHMENT Watch Ari Melber analyse the case for war crimes against Pete Hegseth, which is so strong he is reportedly already looking for a new job, possibly as Senator, to try to escape accountability. And whose orders did Hegseth follow ? ... 1/2
Trump isn't an aberration. He is the culmination of at least fifty years of planning and strategizing by the far right and Christian nationalists to destroy democracy and take over America.
FLASHBACK β Republican Paul Weyrich (co-founder of the Heritage Foundation & ALEC): βI donβt want everybody to voteβ¦ our leverage in elections goes up as the voting populace goes down.β Theyβve been saying it out loud for years. Please vote. π³οΈ πΊπΈ
There are still days like today when I can't believe I live in a country where tens of millions of citizens think this is just fine. Where political races with candidates who support this administration are close. Where the media supports this.

This is true of every stereotype used against Dems. Who's the real 'tax & spend' party? The GOP. The real 'soft on crime' party? The GOP. The real 'big government' party? The GOP. The real 'endless war' party? The GOP. It's all projection that the media buys into.
Fucking facts. Democrats are held to a much higher standard than the Rapepublicans. While they "smash and grab", we're expected to clean up behind them. Every.Single.Time.
"After months of protests...."
Another stunning defeat for a Trump-aligned right-wing leader in Europe. Serbian students voted out their authoritarian leadership after months of protests against corruption, taking their fight from the streets to the ballot box and turning people power into political power.
I don't care who signed those documents, I care about who follows them, and MAGAs care nothing about either of them.
No, they were middle-aged men wearing powdered wigs, elaborately embroidered hostess jackets, silk hose, and shoes with enormous buckles and substantial heels. In other words, our Constitution was written and signed by drag queens.
And Susie Wiles chuckled to herself as she slipped the letter into the shredder.
A letter sent to Trump Chief of Staff Susie Wiles by several House members, incl. Ro Khanna, demanded βan immediate, govt-wide investigation into the decision to restrict SpaceX's Starshield satellite-based intelligence & military support services in Ukraine.β www.americaamerica.news/p/how-long-c...
This is media manipulation, subtle, but real. Downplay the bad news, puff up the not-so-bad news and normalize Trump's behavior. Those lacking critical thinking skills will not question it.
The phrasing of posts like this frustrates the fuck out of me at times. "Bottom 60?" What a bullshit statement.
Under any other administration this entire subject would be scoffed at, but not under Trump. His subservience to Putin is a threat to our sovereignty and national security.
Putin does want Alaska back. He has stated that the sale to the United States back in 1867 was illegal. It's geo-wealth is prized. Oil & Gas companies & mining interests have been aggressive in moving into the state. With an ally in Trump, we now see the results: www.nytimes.com/2026/10/23/u...
This defense is ridiculous. The media is owned by Trump-supporting oligarchs. Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post. Musk owns X. Murdoch owns FOX News and the Wall Street Journal. The media is everything BUT hostile.
Q: Why do you think Americans tell us over & over they don't like the direction of the country? MIKE JOHNSON: Look, it's a hostile media environment. Most of the mainstream media of course is advancing the false narrative of the other side -- the Democrats & the Marxists. They're on the other team
If Trump wants to invoke the Insurrection Act, he will invoke it. There is no one to stop him at this point. The DOJ and FBI belong to him. He ignores court orders. There are no checks and balances except the American people.
βNobody invokes the Insurrection Act over people walking down the street with signs. It doesn't happen.β π Trump and his allies are *openly* floating using the Insurrection Act to seize voting machines or ballots in order to upend an election they expect to lose.
It will be tolerated until 1) Dems win the House and Senate or 2) we get up off our couches and protest in the tens of millions continuously.

This has been the case for many decades. Conservatism is based on looking back with selective memory that agrees with your bigotry and biases. It is not based on facts, and it does not help America move forward.
Do you notice how all the Democrats are campaigning based on policies, while Republicans are only campaigning by trying to smear their opponents? But then again, what else can you do when your president has made such a mess of things over the last two yearsβ¦.
Yes. Simply allowing billionaires to exist is allowing a direct threat to democracy to exist. Musk and other oligarchs are helping Trump rig the election in real time.
Remember: Wealth cannot be separated from power. We're seeing in real time how the extreme concentration of wealth is distorting our politics, rigging markets, and granting unprecedented power to a handful of people. Taxing the rich isn't just an economic issue, it's a defense of our democracy.
It doesn't take a genius to understand that Trump has been wooing Maher over the years, and Maher is dumb enough to fall for for the attention. When liberals criticize him for it, he lashes out with childish taunts. He is a lost soul.
When I was on Bill Maherβs show back in the day, heβd call me a crazy Tea Party guy. With disdain. Now look what Maher has become - an authoritarian-embracing MAGA apologist. If you told me back in 2016, that Iβd become a NeverTrumper, and Maher would become a Trump bootlicker, Iβd of said no way.
One more reason why we shouldn't allow billionaires to exist. No person should have the power to keep the truth from the rest of us. It will backfire.
It seems Elon is successfully squashing the @alexgibneyfilm documentary about him. We can confirm showtimes in the Nashville area have disappeared. www.showbiz411.com/2026/10/23/c...

As a result of our under-reaction to the oligarch takeover of America, the media will be horrible for future generations unless a Dem president has the guts to break up the near monopoly of right-wing owned media conglomerates.
Democrats need to immediately revitalize antitrust law, and they need to restrict ownership of American media companies. And the next Democratic administration needs to void Musk's naturalization as an American citizen and immediately declare him persona non grata.
We should be doing what other countries do when freedom and democracy are at risk, taking to the streets in the millions with ongoing protests, taking over Washington, D.C. We are allowing this country to be ruled and destroyed by fascists while we sit and watch.
Soβ¦π What are we going to do about it? We knew this was coming, didnβt we?! Enjoy. ππΊπΈβ¨
