This is the winning message in Hungary, Serbia, and now Brazil. It's an integral message that resonates with people who know they've been swindled. The guilty MUST be held to account.

It's really important to pay attention to the fact that Lula beat the fascist candidate not by compromising and trying to meet fascist voters in the middle, but by sticking to his guns, promising prosecutions for election interference, and mobilising his own voters to turn out in greater numbers.

By November 3rd: Vote !! It’s our turn.

Thank you, Brazil. Thank you, Serbia. Reminding us of the power and undying promise of democracy. Are you listening, America?

🔥 @charlesmblow.bsky.social : “The media is getting this wrong… The Muslim Brotherhood is ~100 years old, Trump just classified them as terrorists this year. 0 terrorist attacks on 🇺🇸 soil — Trump’s dad was arrested at a Klan rally, is he responsible for his dad’s actions?”

All these so-called “independent” Republicans will go right back to voting for Johnson as speaker, confirm every Trump nominee, vote with Trump on everything, and continue doing zero oversight on his corrupt regime. A vote for any one of them is a vote to continue all of that.

THIS!

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

I remember when media did a whole bunch of stories about Joe Biden’s shoes to emphasize that he was old. But Trump can randomly blurt out random noises, fall asleep constantly in meetings, and walk like a drunk failing a sobriety test, and we get almost nothing.

Today, while protecting Palestinians, Brad Lander & a group of American rabbis & others were taken by the IDF. Releasing Brad isn't enough, the Israeli govt must release them all.   If this is how they treat Americans, imagine how they treat Palestinians. Trump & Rubio's silence fuels this impunity.

State legislative races should be getting a lot more attention Dems could flip 500 seats, pick up new majorities in 7 states & break up GOP majorities in 6 states 2026 could be 2010 in reverse

Russia is now exempt from the Lindsey O. Graham Russia Sanctions Act. The US government is clearly allied with Putin against Ukraine. Vote Republican enablers out.

When you see all these corrupt, ridiculously unqualified and incompetent Trump officials in action, realize that it is only possible because Republicans have the majority in the senate and voted to confirm them. The only way to stop it is to take that majority away.

Republican politicians are *obsessed* with schoolchildren coming home a different gender because of pro-trans teachers, WHICH NEVER HAPPENS. But they are completely indifferent to schoolchildren not coming home *at all* because of guns, WHICH HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!

What a total scumbag. Another one to vote out. These people are not just awful legislators, they are just terrible human beings. bsky.app/profile/theb...

Republican Rep. Andy Harris incorrectly told a reporter they were breaking the law as the reporter and others recorded an exchange with him last night. Harris had just wrapped up a debate with Democratic challenger Dan Schwartz.

Rep. Delia C. Ramirez has introduced a bill that would abolish not just ICE, but the DHS altogether, repealing the 2002 law establishing the agency and replacing it with one focused on protecting civil and human rights.

It’s more important to make all the people around him pay the price for their lawless attacks on our democracy. Trump may be dead tomorrow. Some of the DOGE monsters may live another 70 years.

arknet@arknet.bsky.social

My main interest is cutting the people under him with investigations and impeachments, removal, and if applicable, criminal charges. The more you take away his props, the more vulnerable he is. He cannot function without those people.

America is literally deporting people to countries they have no connection with, countries they’ve never been to. This is wildly unlawful. It’s cruel. It’s un-American. It’s evil.

Joan Jacobs reposted

“If you’re evil you’re actually kind of good. Because you’re at least getting something done.”🤔 Y’all aren’t alarmed enough about what MAGA tech billionaire (Trump donor, J.D. Vance’s pimp, Epstein’s buddy) Peter Thiel is doing to our country.

Joan Jacobs reposted

Pretty wild that the Texas Cattle Ranchers association is saying that deportations are affecting beef prices in the US because of labor shortages but Republican politicians and candidates never seem to get asked about that.

Russia strikes apartment buildings. Ukraine strikes refineries. Trump is angry at Ukraine and calls for them publicly and privately to stop bombing refineries while saying nothing about Russia killing children.

Trump has now refunded $128 billion dollars from his tariffs to corporations. Tariffs he created, made Americans pay for, and then returned right back to his donors. We paid, and his friends cashed in.

It's a scandal that the president of the United States is out of his damn mind. It's also a scandal that major news media aren't telling you that, loudly and often.

I’ve been a member of five labor unions in my life. I’ve seen firsthand what working people can accomplish when we stand together. The rights and protections workers have today weren’t handed to us. Generations of workers and organizers fought for them, stood their ground, & refused to back down.

THIS! DP= mensch!

Dolly Parton logged a combined total of 115 years of union membership. Throughout her working life, the “9 to 5” singer/songwriter carried the union cards of two major unions: The American Federation of Musicians Local 257 in Nashville — for 58 years. SAG-AFTRA — for 57 years. HAPPY LABOR DAY!
