Arrest Musk. Nationalize StarLink. Dismantle and totally reform this corrupt system so this can never happen again.

People are falling for the DSA vs Establishment trap again. Didn’t we learn our lesson in 2016 and 2024? It’s the establishment’s job to build a coalition that can win EVERYWHERE. In some places, that means ultra-progressive. In others, it means establishment. The tent is big enough for all of us.

jsmith522.bsky.social reposted

With everyone obsessing over a handful of DSA candidates, the broader trend that might be getting missed across the country is that lots of Dem primary voters seem to have decided it is time for a new generation of younger nominees in lots of places.

When I start to worry about Trump stealing the midterms, I just remind myself that he’s losing a fight with the Reflecting Pool at the moment.

The orange felon blames mail-in voting, immigrants and felons for destroying America, yet he marries immigrants, he votes by mail and he’s a convicted felon. Funny how that bullshit hypocrisy works.

“The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it.” — Martin Luther King, Jr.

A felon who married an immigrant is telling a lot of y’all that the problems in this country all stem from felons and immigrants. But keep buying that stupid red hat that’s made in China.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act is a law, passed by Congress on November 19 with an overwhelming vote. Complying with it was not optional. The Department of Justice did not comply. I want to make sure this is very clear.

Mamdani bringing back servant leadership is in high contrast to what we see & get from Republicans only in office to enrich themselves & their friends. 2026 is when we start the trend that Democrats are cool and Republicans are fools. Post on social media accordingly.

dissatisfied by the New York Times coverage of Zohran Mamdani? great news! I talked to the guy Thursday about his campaign’s success at bringing community together beyond this election, and contextualized how it’s potentially shifted youth engagement with politics by simply listening @teenvogue.com

For those unaware, the Trump White House is now on Bluesky - complete with trolling posts - @whitehouse-47.bsky.social. I'm taking the block route. There is no need to see their posts, and less reason to give them oxygen. Nothing will drive them crazier than NOT engaging with them.

6/ PLUS, we have good research going back decades that shows that for most people, they retain (and access) factual information better from humor. People who watch topical comedy tend to be better informed overall. Silencing humor might mean more ignorance. That seems unwise at this moment.

Just spoke with my CDC sources. They said RFK Jr. has ordered officials to hide tuberculosis cases, even as three active TB cases were just reported in Maine. He’s also suppressing bird flu reports. Pandemics don’t start with viruses they start with secrecy. RFK Jr. must resign now!

Stupid, Ignorant, Uninformed, And Corrupt…. Trump: "We are now the only Country in the World that uses Mail-In Voting." He's right – except for the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, Australia, Canada, India, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Russia, and 22 other countries.

Don’t take medical advice from AI. Don’t take legal advice from AI. Don’t take financial advice from AI. Better yet, stop using generative AI. It’s destroying the environment, it generates slop and is destroying the internet, artists, creativity and our brains.

This is just nuts. A person showed up with bromism, a condition that was probably last seen in the early 80s, because a chatbot suggested bromide salt as an alternative to table salt. Deskilling of GI docs using AI was also reported this week. What the heck are we even doing?

For months, DHS repeatedly denied inhumane conditions at 26 Fed while illegally blocking me from inspecting it. Now, in court, they admit to the horrific conditions they've been subjecting law-abiding immigrants to. This administration is lying to you over and over. They cannot be trusted.

They already gave Maxwell partial immunity before she testified. This coverup is one of the most grotesque things I’ve ever seen in my life. Everyone in every party should be horrified by what this administration is doing to protect pedophiles.

The “big, beautiful” bill ain’t beautiful—it’s bullshit. House Republicans just voted for the largest cut to SNAP & Medicaid in U.S. history—turning their backs on their own damn constituents: the working people they were sent here to represent. They don’t serve the people. They serve the rich.
