As a local game dev community rep in Edmonton; creatives never loose their desire to create and if you take a chance on them it can make something big. All devs need is to feel safe to swing without fear of being homeless and you'd see an explosion in creative businesses starting up.

One thing about #SaveMassEffect: What really sucks & cannot be undone is all the folks at BioWare who lost their jobs. Even if EA licensed the IP, that doesn't solve anything for them. 😕 Someone with a lotta cash would have to license it AND hire the team.
