Track may be called "The Coda," but I promise it's the beginning of another chapter. I'm still not 100% health & hearing wise with my left ear, jaw, neck, etc. but the hyperacusis has settled enough I can cut a path forward, I think. Tell me if I'm wrong:

I've definitely been the connect between friends & classmates at tech companies to get accounts unlocked & get employee discounts on goods & it's a pattern that goes way back to the 1990s tech boom. The first Windows PC in the house had Windows because my dad had friends who worked at MS.
π΅ I got 4 on it
Because 4's is my cert's key

Updates stuck without a patch
I got 4 on it

No really, it's another 4 vuln, applicable to all sorts of IoT devices, firewalls & anything else using GoAhead web server:
Off rip realizing the only ones with a chance in hell:
- OVA Tenchi (by series 3 he's rewriting space time & histories too, albeit not as a platonic concept.)
- Madoka (& the point of that show is existing in conversation with Sailor Moon/magical girls as a whole.)
So I still wouldn't bet on 'em.
Definitely was a Red Robin's family, barring breakfast or late night eats in my 20s, both of which was ceded to Denny's, barring being in town and thus closer to better options. Olive Garden tried to hang in there, but I don't I think finished high school before their quality slid too far.
i'm fairly sure the New Aventures of Huckleberry Finn episode "Strange Experiment" is the origin or at least an early instance of this one cue used like a billion times in early Scooby and especially Josie episodes
ANN has a fantastic editorial staff, semi-consistently being let down by their ad team managing to stumble into these kind of "against the site's ethos" spon-con advertorials 1-2x a year. At some point, they ought to transfer one the editorial folks over to ads, just to vet & avoid these goofs.
Will that cost money upfront? Yeah, twice over in taking less suspect ads & having an ad-person who is less about hustling for deals & more about making sure it's not undercutting over a quarter century of goodwill, but losing respect costs way more money in the long term anyway, so it'll pay off.
Uh, deleting the skeet doesn't delete the advertorial. These needs to turn into the Happy Science advertorial post haste: www.animenewsnetwork.com/advertorial/...
Omg no, he was so young. Damn. He was such a talented voice actor. Itβs on the mind because I literally just watched it yesterday, but he got asked to do the taken monologue as porky pig and its a masterpiece
I'm tired of Erics passing too soon. My Uncle-in-Law Eric, who passed right after his dad died from COVID. My wife & I's friend Eric, who passed last week & who always invited us & many more over for Canadian Thanksgiving when I was in university. And now the amazing Eric Bauza. It's too much. /1
I know that often comes with getting older. One's elder relatives, even if they're not that much older than yourself, start going. Everyone who was struggling with something, or not taking care of themselves, start going. It just doesn't change the impact though. It hurts the same every time. /end
Waiting for my RMT, radio is on, and I guess I just gotta just live with Beck's "Loser" being an oldies station song now, and oldies stations being 80's and 90's songs.
Yeah, no one is gonna use that. I vaguely humored the idea of an Oregon Trail microgeneration, as proposed for the late 70s/early 80s folks (like me) who basically never knew a world without PCs, but did know one without home internet, but that tech was unevenly distributed, so millennial fits fine.
And this, friends, is why trained editors do multiple passes before signing off on a work.
If I had to hazard a guess, this is a case where someone did a straight "USA -> "US" text replace without checking for case. As a result, "Usagi" became "USgi"

Also a reminder Soundgarden & Alice In Chains were fun enough to be the stock footage for a recurring bit on Almost Live, Seattle's local late night comedy show, that has aged poorly/is extremely 1990, but was much less self-serious than Billy:

This excerpt from a 1994 Spin magazine story about Soundgarden (written by the legendary Jonathan Gold) is all you need to know about Billy Corgan.
We are all Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil.
That said, yeah sometimes I think there's something in the water in Chicago because Kanye and Corgan are two sides of the same coin. OTOH, there plenty of Chicago acts & musicians that aren't tortured iconoclast types (Lupe Fiasco, Veruca Salt, Vic Mensa, other members of the Smashing Pumpkins...)
the computer in your pocket let's you create a expansive written, musical &/or visual work, & distribute it to the world with way fewer weird gatekeepers that you need to brown nose just to be seen. it's both awful & awesome we have direct access to the world via all mediums, but it's a net good.

Taiwan's CMR (Central Mountain Range) does terrifying things to tropical cyclones. Almost looks like a river came from it.
I'd hate to be on Yonaguni right now. Also caused the storm motion to swing westward toward Taipei.
They really don't make them like this often enough any more. Weird, rad anime originals used to be the entire upside of the satellite/UHF broadcasting explosion & streaming really should've kept that ball in the air, but we're in adaptation & sequel hell. I'm barely watching anything this season.
Today we're returning to the fraught fairways of high-stakes underground golfing, for an episode that involves both golf course mecha transformations and nefarious pheromone-based skullduggery. That's right, it's time for some god damn Birdie Wing!
