Serbia to Trump: Drop Dead.

Donald Trump is a traitor to this country. Period.

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

Trump is in a foreign country today trashing American Democrats, trashing American cities, and advocating for Putin. In other words, nothing has changed from his previous trips.

The fucking audacity of this man. Russia invaded Ukraine. Ukrainians are fighting for their fucking lives. Defending yourself against an invading army isn’t warmongering. The sheer arrogance of playing God with other people’s survival while lecturing the world about morality is absolutely revolting.

Anyone with even half a brain knew this was happening. In fact, I dare say, the other 4 EYES & NATO knew long before this hack ? The precise writing on the wall if Trump took the WH again.

The Israeli government is trying to foment violence between Jews and Palestinians, and to make it impossible for Palestinians to harvest their olive groves, drive on their roads, or live in their homes.

We’re trying to model solidarity & co-existence between Jews and Palestinians, and to call attention to the horrors of the occupation.

I’ve been released from IDF custody with a “warning,” apparently because of my public profile (I told them I wasn’t even a congressmember yet, just a nominee). But several dozen rabbis & participants harvesting olives with me are still in detention.

I have been trying to think of what Trump’s hideous “ballroom” project reminds me of — and I finally have it — it is Nicolai Ceausescu’s infamous and unfinished House of the People in communist Romania, which also brought awfulness to a lovely downtown.

It features a huge ballroom with niches for portraits of the dictator and his wife and a sliding roof so that a helicopter can enter and exit. The building also had a nuclear bunker. The aesthetic sense of the two men is much the same but Trump’s construction will probably be even worse.

It’s indicative of the failure of this whole Alberta separation referendum process that separatist leaders are saying that they’ve “already won” before any of the results come in. Everyone who had a role in forcing this referendum to happen should be ashamed at that.

Brent Toderian@brenttoderian.bsky.social

As Canada awaits the Alberta separation referendum results, let’s remember how stupid this all is. Huge public money spent on a Russian & American-fuelled separation movement for an awfully-written and badly managed unbinding referendum on whether to hold a binding referendum that would be illegal.

I don’t understand why farmers need an endless series of welfare payments from the rest of us since Trump took office. Aren’t his policies working for you? You need us to pay you so you will keep voting for the guy who is failing you? Don’t you believe in free market capitalism?
