Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs. Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played the game without having slept. Crazy.

Just like Dombrowski is to blame for Duran needing to pitch in the 7th and 8th yesterday, he's to blame for not trading for a real outfielder at the deadline and putting Bryce in a position to blow that play. Taylor Ward makes that catch.

It was the correct move, Don Mattingly made a correct bullpen move. He put his closer in for the 7th and 8th because it was the best chance to see the 9th. Duran piped a 99.9 mph fastball that got hit. There is a litany of managers who lost with their closer standing in the bullpen.

I’ve been hating on Mattingly all season. You had to use Duran for two innings somewhere today. Blame that on Dave Dombrowski for not assembling a competent bullpen
