Even before, the whole world knew that russians hide explosives inside children’s toys. While the world silently watches, they keep committing еvil. Now russians speak about it themselves — openly. They speak, and they are proud of it. Look, world. Don’t stay silent.

Health insurance is a legalized scam. One-third of many people's salary and it pays for nothing until you've already shelled out additional for a deductible that's well into the thousands. Even then, they may just say "No, we're not paying." It's time for universal healthcare.

The Republicans One Big Beautiful Bill Act includes $186 billion in cuts to SNAP. Republicans have made it clear they couldn’t care less if Americans have food on the table.

Being on SNAP benefits for 17 years, I've NEVER been told I wouldn't be paid my benefits. NEVER. What is going on is BEYOND cruel. The ppl w/disabilities, ppl w/chronic illnesses & cancer, seniors already isolated, the 16M hh's w/children. WE REFUSE TO BE A NUMBER. WE ARE PEOPLE. WE DESERVE DIGNITY.

Since we‘re talking about ACA subsidies… My sister's doctor made a house call because she‘s dealing with a lingering ear infection. He gave her a shot and a full course of antibiotics. While there, he took a look at her husband and gave him a B12 shot. Total cost: $141. They live in Mexico.

The government shutdown has delayed Head Start from providing nutrition and education services to 716k children annually. We have a bipartisan responsibility to help working families not halt assistance they rely on. We need to vote to reopen the government and provide Americans relief.

The utter stupidity of pursuing a criminal trial against someone for throwing a sandwich that bounced off a bullet proof vest pissing away hundreds of thousands of dollars for this joke is the perfect encapsulation of this Administration.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 94th day out of the last 106. 12 days of work in 106 days. With full pay and benefits. The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown. It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

The “sandwich guy” jury were unable to reach a verdict this evening. They’ve gone back to their hotel to mull over whether a submarine sandwich thrown against a bulletproof vest could be reasonably construed as “assault”. I would be mulling why so many tax dollars have been wasted on a sandwich

wusa9.comJury deadlocked whether sandwich toss was federal crime in ‘DC Sandwich Guy’ trialA jury can't decide whether Sean Dunn — a man accused of throwing a sandwich at a federal officer — committed a federal crime.

The lesson of history is that tyrants cannot be appeased. Appeasement only feeds their insatiable hunger for power. Tyrants prey on people who feel unsafe and vulnerable. But without mass submission, a tyrant is powerless. Remember this.

Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest. The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says. "I could smell the onions and mustard."

This is the expression I most remember; The Cheney sneer. Because the easiest emotions for him to access were always contempt and disdain. There are a mountain of dead people who would be alive today if not for him personally. And he made torture part of our foreign policy.

Dick Cheney died far too old and far too free. The fact that such monsters get to pass away in their eighties surrounded by loved ones instead of alone in a cage is an indictment of our entire civilization.

Walmart and McDonald’s are among the top employers of workers who rely on food stamps. McDonald's CEO raked in $18.2M last year — over 1,000x the company's median employee pay. Walmart's CEO pocketed $27.4M — 930x the company's median employee pay. See the problem?

Starting to think, perhaps, Donald Trumps election was not, actually, a mandate, or a change in American values, and there’s actually no reason to shift our policies or politics to the right to appease imaginary people in any way whatsoever.
