Last night the carbon monoxide alarm sounded but it stopped after 3 beeps so I just went back to sleep.

Found a nice pair of reading glasses on the loo roll holder in a public toilet cubical. Nowhere to hand them in and my magnification, so gave them a new home. Today they slid off my head and landed in the toilet bowl. It's only just dawned on me…

Went with wife to tend MiL's grave. While she was faffing in the car, I started clearing the weeds. Found a bone, which I thought was a chicken thigh bone. Then I suddenly thought "is this a toe or finger bone?" Popped it down a rodent hole and covered it up. Sorry Margaret.

Been trying to get on w social, no wonder I drink. Why make it so difficult.
