YOU - “I'd like to dedicate this song to my partner, Kim Kitsuragi.” (Nod to the lieutenant.) KIM KITSURAGI - The lieutenant doesn't say anything, but gives you a quick smile, before turning away. COMPOSURE - He's incapable of blushing, but if he weren't -- he'd blush.

Racial/ethnic “superiority” in any form is really fucking stupid. You’re made of meat. You’re edible. One day the crows will pick you clean.

I don't think you can exaggerate how good Ashita no Joe is. You've got one of manga's finest tales of a person getting better at their talents and overcoming the odds, but it's also about connecting with people and then losing them, and what you do when you feel pieces of yourself falling away.

This whole thread is correct and as a trans person, on the ground of Midwest America-the dems are just as out of touch with their voting public as the GOP. Even if there is a freak complaining about trans people-they’re still far more worried about the increase in grocery prices.

the contrast between seeing US democrats fall over themselves to embrace idiot transphobia all year and tonight seeing footage of the president embracing my (trans) congresswoman, Erika Hilton, at the election night party

i think "vote dem across the board, but for the 4 very worst dems on trans rights you can leave them blank" is a reasonable position (& a reasonable compromise between vbnmw & fears about dems going full uk labour)

Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com

The elections are on next Tuesday, and so much is at stake, including the soul of the Democratic Party when it comes to transgender people. I am asking you to leave a very small number of races blank in which a Democrat has embraced extreme anti-trans hate. I make my case here.

I'm wildly biased on this front, but I continue to believe the last decade of self-driving technology remains one of the best ways to understand how "AI" will and will not have a lasting impact

Regime Accountant, CPA ☠️🎢@regimecpa.bsky.social

AI really does change the speed at which you can do things but every product is still very 80 / 20. Getting to the MVP feels really good and goes really fast, getting the UI to actually work in a sane way is going to require a lot of annoying and frankly boring testing / use.

If that blasted Spider-Man covered my goggles with his accursed webbing, I would simply use two of my four extra mechanical arms to tear it off, the better to see him as I secure the ultimate victory that is now, finally, within my grasp.

I cannot conjure any story where this would have come up. There was a minor villain in 1976’s PLASTIC MAN #11 named Dr. Forklift, but as a mad supervillain scientist, I’d call any alleged certification questionable. #ngl

After speaking with my therapist about it, I’ve decided to try reopening my NGL. Ask me all your questions about DC Comics for an answer from a professional DC Comics weirdo. Please be respectful.

There’s something I don’t trust about characters that feel written by Grant Morrison to be analogues for Grant Morrison, and it’s probably that they’re Grant Morrison

Oh yeah, even with desk pens and very limited time at work I can draw. Guess I'm responding with this today to anyone who doesn't realize if you hurt someone, you can't bully then back into loving you...
