It's even more angering to me when other trans people will see "cringe" trans art and say that it's "setting the community back" or "making us look bad". Actually transphobes are going to hate us no matter what, you're just miserable and want everyone else to hate themselves like you do

JenWave1995@jenwave1995.bsky.social

When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

DT has been okay so far. i feel like i'm nitpicking a lot with it, but that's because there's not a lot to grab onto storyline-wise. wol in the bg of every scene eatin an apple. wife keeps telling me it gets better and i believe, so i'm committed.

like what was the deal with those bird guys? they didn't know that the float was an aether focus? didn't they see the huge aether lasers shoot outta the eyes and shower onto the fields every year? are they stupid?

via @stathead.com, throughout 122 years of world series history there have been two games in which a team scored 10+ runs and allowed 3 or fewer hits. both were the brewers (tonight and 1982 game 1)

the best thing about people talking about how winston has transcended overwatch is there's a post about that too in the ancient texts:

Mass Effect was my ultimate white whale, my all-time dream project. For the last couple years I'd been in discussion w/ BioWare & EA to take on the project & as part of that I wrote close to 20 minutes of music to explore where the franchise can go next, may as well share it!

some people think because of my kindness and my open heart i am naive, or weak, or that I cannot tell when they are lying to me. they are wrong.

i have met dozens like you in my life. i will meet dozens more, i am sure. you are not special, you're tedious. and boring. and eventually i will move on.

Elfquest: Leetah Art by Wendy Pini From Heritage Auctions... This is a simply gorgeous headshot of the wise and proud member of both the Sun Folk and the Wolf Riders, Leetah. Her name means "healing light".

fighting the urge to see the patterns, but also getting the sense that this kind of response (save the IP, not the Devs) is exactly the sort of thing private equity ghouls dream about. disolve Woke Studio. let the fires burn. rake in the good will when you "cave to pressure."

Does it need to be said that Mass Effect shouldn’t exist without the developers and team that was working on this game? Either they come back and make the game they were, or Mass Effect dies. kotaku.com/mass-effect-...
