One thing about yachts that occurred to me is that buying one is probably a thing that is conventional wisdom in wealth management — ie. That even if you hate being on a yacht, a yacht is a giant chunk of money that you can park in whatever country that taxes the least for it.

Of course PHP has been “modernized“ over the years, but there are so many better designed programming languages that you can make a web application that works well and is easy to maintain. I don’t know why anyone reaches for PHP for a brand new project anymore
