We'll need to raise the funds first, and that's where the town-favorite labrador is going to help us.

ONE OF THE GREATEST MOMENTS OF MY LIFE WAS JUST NOW WHEN PEARL JAM WAS BLASTING THROUGH A COVER OF “ROCKIN IN THE FREE WORLD” AND THE JUMBOTRON CAMERA ZOOMED IN ON A GUY UP FRONT WHOSE SHIRT READ “JD VANCE KILLED THE POPE”

i just muted a thread i got attached to of people earnestly explaining why they didn’t have context for an old twitter joke like sorry i don’t need your whole life story

why did i read this as “do geminis deserve human rights” and i was like omg do they

The New York Times@nytimes.com

“Can ChatGPT experience joy or suffering? Does Gemini deserve human rights?” our tech columnist asks. “Many A.I. experts I know would say no, not yet, not even close. But I was intrigued.”

when i lived in idaho there was a little place called “mike’s taste of chicago” and they had the best chicken sandwich i’ve ever had. it was wet like an italian beef sandwich but with grilled chicken. i have never encountered a sandwich remotely close to it, even in chicago. i think about it weekly.

i can tell you about the first onion ring i ever had or the first time i had chinese food. i can tell you about the first time i ever had mashed potatoes when i was like 3 or 4. a core memory for me!

this place closed in the late 90s and i still think about it ALL THE TIME. a true haunting. they also had the best chili cheese fries. if i could fund this place to reopen i would.

i have this weird thing where a lot of my memories are attached to specific meals. like i can’t tell you why i walked into the kitchen 2 minutes ago but i can tell you about the red velvet waffle i had at del friscos in 2012, who i was with and what we talked about.
