I follow back real people with real bios. People who love democracy, art, reading, gardening, animals, humor... But I need something to go on, please.

I shared this video the other day. Tonight @maddow had this lawyer on her show. People are being tortured at Trump's detention camps Including children deprived of medical care. PUTRID WATER BUGS IN FOOD Call your Senators & DEMAND they stop funding DHS! 202-224-3121 Do Not Fund ICE terrorism.

Exactly right. Bovino's leaving? Great, get Noem to resign. Noem resigns? Great, defund and dismantle ICE. Go after Stephen Miller too. Bring charges against ICE thugs at the state and local level. Lawsuits. New state laws restricting them. Every possible angle.

URGENT! Party Animal isn’t being taken out of his cage- not walked or cuddled at all- They are going to kill him! Pls help me get him out! He’s URGENT 🚨!

Today in Politics Chat, I talked about how power sloshes around when a president is checked out, and noted that right now unelected officials like Stephen Miller are trying to grab it. But instead, We the People can take it back and create a better nation.

It doesn't get more All-American than Sally Field!

AOC: I think there's two things that are happening at once: One, there absolutely is an unprecedented abuse of power, destruction of norms, erosion of our government and our democracy in order to prop up an authoritarian style of governance However, they are weaker than they look…

Pass it on…👇 Let’s. Do. This. For. Them. 😎✨

Watch one thing today: THIS. “Despair is not an option. Giving up is not acceptable.”

NYC friends: this poor dog was almost on his freedom ride out of the pound when his foster didn't show up on him. He's now in danger of being put down. Do you have space in your home and heart to adopt him? ❤️ Also, lots of animals at this NYC shelter who need a home. nycacc.app#/browse/225834

Watching the news in NY, I keep thinking of this image showing thousands of Bostonians rallying against federal troops whom they called "kidnappers," furious at the reach of the slave power into free states courtesy of the federal govt. 🗃️ www.pbs.org/wgbh/aia/par... www.pbs.org/wgbh/aia/par...

ICE crossed a line in LA

EVERYBODY WATCH. ICE IS OUT OF CONTROL. Video of SEIU California’s President David Huerta getting assaulted & arrested during an ICE raid in the warehouse district of Downtown Los Angeles today. He’s an LA native, American citizen and labor leader. Don’t turn away.

I'm Dr. Annie Andrews. I’m a pediatrician, not a politician. But either way I know how to handle people who are full of sh*t. Today I am announcing my campaign for US Senate to replace Lindsey Graham. Share this if you're with me. www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8wM...

Did you know that the ICE detention center in Newark was opened without permission from the city & in violation of state law? Mayor Baraka has been fighting to close it down. RP this to THANK Mayor Baraka! #USDemocracy

In most societies, the rich and powerful acceded to the rule of law solely because they realized that, as soon as ordinary people feel they’re getting screwed without any chance of peaceful redress, that’s when you get the pitchfork-wielding mobs.

"The problem with a delayed response is that the more power leaders with authoritarian tendencies accumulate, the harder it is to mount an effective resistance. The opposition is thus more likely to succeed if it acts early..." www.foreignaffairs.com/united-state...

Just a reminder that America will in fact crush fascism. It will take a while and it will be messy. But bet on it.

Pass it on: The Resistance is alive and well and angry. Reports of our demise might have been premature

REPOST if you support our federal workforce and know how dedicated they are to their jobs. Show them you appreciate them!

At some point, somebody is going to have to do something incredibly brave.

I’m a part time librarian and I just want to echo what I’ve seen other librarians say recently: there is a HUGE uptick in requests for social justice, climate justice, abolition, history, etc books and I just want to say nobody is giving up the fight. If anything people are fighting harder #library

I knew the outfit looked familiar.😐

Just want to wish everyone a cozy happy Merry Christmas. I know some people are not feeling it. But this is the time of year we celebrate joy and giving and kindness and love. We mustn't ever lose that. Peace and love to you all.♥️

Spread the word, people. The quicker I get to 100,000 followers the quicker we can get this Apocalypse thing over with.

When you spent billions and destroyed your brand to recreate 1930's Germany and got 1780's France instead.

Shoutout to South Korea. Their guy tried to pull a Trump and he got shut down and impeached within 24 hours. Gangsta democracy.

Some of you are following people for purely mercenary purposes, and it shows.
