Rachel Gunter, Ph.D. 🗃️

Dolores Huerta, who rose to national prominence as the co-founder of the National Farm Workers Association, and was known for her advocacy for women farmworkers, has died. She was 96. Huerta coined the ¡Sí Se Puede! chant and came to define the farmworker movement.

I just want to name that people overcame this. Even against a stacked deck, the good fight is worth it. Win or lose, it's worth it. And sometimes the good guys win.

He claims here that other states have a law saying "somebody with the same name can't run." That is false. In no state is that the law, and it would be unconstitutional. You can have rules about how the ballot is disambiguated, you can't say nobody else with a similar name is allowed to run at all.

 Something I liked about this movie was the fact that it used actual sets and a lot of practical Gore effects when they could. Give it a vibe from the 80s and 90s. Which was a great time for horror. #HATM
