If the Iran war leads to more terrorism targeting the US and Israel, it will be used as an argument to justify further war. As opposed to proof that these wars lead to worse outcomes. This is the mad logic of militaristic cultures, in which failure leads to even more of the same.

This attack on Iran would ensure that countries that rely heavily on oil take alternative energy sources very seriously. That's the silver lining to this dark cloud.
