if I ever die in a terrorist attack and someone from my family uses my legacy to say a bunch of racist stuff at a trump rally, you all have my permission to shoot him

Rally speaker: "Mike Rogers is an American. Abdul has a birth certificate. The birth certificate says he's a citizen of America. You know what? a birth certificate doesn't make you an American."

don’t vote for anti trans democrats

Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com

Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet. Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well. Horrific.

what did this dumb asshole see in the past 10 years that made him think donald trump gave shit about lowering prices or the american dream

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

Michael Fusella supported President Trump for nearly a decade. But as the Iran war drags on and the cost of living continues to climb, the 21-year-old Republican said he feels betrayed by a president who said he’d end overseas conflicts and lower prices.

It's amazing how adaptable "A man takes a river into the jungle. Amid cruelty and brutality, in a process of outer decay that reflects the inner, the veneer of civilization is stripped away, while at the same time the pretensions of empire are revealed to be farcical" is as a story.

malcolm gladwell should investigate something he has actual expertise in, like why he spent so much time on jeffrey epstein’s plane

The Atlantic@theatlantic.com

“In recent years, many Americans have decided that their country’s problem was that it had too many police officers, when in fact its problem was that it had too few,” Malcolm Gladwell writes:

Q: Were Medicare and Medicaid mistakes? Vivek Ramaswamy: I believe they were. I think the evidence would show that it has harmed the very people that it was created to actually help

lol this guy rules, we need to hear more from him

Baltimore Banner@thebaltimorebanner.com

Republican Rep. Andy Harris incorrectly told a reporter they were breaking the law as the reporter and others recorded an exchange with him last night. Harris had just wrapped up a debate with Democratic challenger Dan Schwartz.

I have all the appropriate credentials to practice law. what those credentials are and where/when I obtained them is beyond the scope of this interview

i know a lot of people have chosen to leave the poison swamp that inflicts constant tick damage but since the Plague Baron stopped casting Rain of Putrefaction so often its gotten way better. plus all of the important conversations about rot and pestilence are happening there

Q: Do you know about the reports about Kimberly Guilfoyle, your ambassador to Greece? TRUMP: I just heard about it. It's too bad. I mean, I don't know. She's an ambassador. I just heard a little bit about it. I don't know too much, but she always very nice.

Sen. Ossoff: Mike Collins is under federal investigation for the illegal misuse of tax dollars—illegally funneling public money to his violent staffer's girlfriend. And he refused to testify.

I know this is the playbook but what is so annoying is how they say “I’m not going to talk about that, it just came out” and the next time it comes up it will be “I’ve already addressed that, not going to rehash it” and that will be the last we hear about it

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Marco Rubio has a meltdown when asked about Kimberly Guilfoyle: "I'm not playing this game ... you guys are not gonna be our only source of information in the world. I'm sorry to tell you that. No... I don't even know if what you're reporting is true." (It's true! The Journal has her text messages!)

fuck this and fuck her

SC Dem Senate nominee Annie Andrews released an ad calling trans women "biological men." She embraces sports and surgery bans for youth. Her campaign even says she won't work to overturn the HRT/blocker trans youth ban. She once argued against capitulation. Subscribe to support our journalism.

sorry but if you believe you have to throw trans people under the bus in order to win, which is itself a HIGHLY suspect proposition, then you don’t deserve to win anyway

Senator Bernie Sanders, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Senator Merkley just introduced the 'Ban Flock Act,' to ban Flock cameras: "We cannot allow America to become a surveillance state where a handful of AI oligarchs profit by giving the government the power to track our every movement.”

I voted for trump because I’m racist and I thought it was good that ICE agents were going to commit acts of violence against black and brown people, in fact I still think it’s good when they do that.

Acyn@acyn.bsky.social

Mother of Renee Good: I voted for Trump under the impression that these agents were here to protect the citizens of the US, innocents like our family and the others here, against terrorists. Certainly not to accuse those of us here of being terrorists and take precious lives. This is madness.
