peter doesn't care about the morality he just cares about what percentage of the population this will appeal too funny how he doesn't view labour's transphobic policies in terms of public appeal labour are mass murdering transgender ppl. the cass review has killed over 600 ppl in less than 2 years
It's another policy which feels most likely to appeal solely to the 20% or so Reform core vote, and also to harden other voters' resolve to vote however is needed to keep out a Reform government - as do many of their recent announcements.

A Tennessee appellate court has ruled that the killing of a woman may have been justifiable because she was trans. The court reversed a conviction, stating that the killer could have a new trial because the jury did not know the woman killed was trans. Trans panic in the modern era.

THE SAME GODDAMNED STATE that said that a cis woman should be executed WITHOUT EVEN HAVING HER APPEAL ADJUDICATED, now is arguing a cis man gets to have his trial overturned because the woman he murdered was trans?!?!?! THE AMOUNT OF RAGE I HAVE IS INCALCULABLE!!!

There are literally fascists running the US federal government, inflation is sky high, underemployment is rampant, the US is now a failed state and a laughingstock on the world stage, the environment is collapsing around us, but please, let’s focus on what petty shit we can blame on jobseekers.
Is asking someone to leave the beverages at home for an interview as fussy as reminding a lady to wear pantyhose or a gentleman to ask before lighting a cigarette? We assembled a team of Post staffers across the newsroom — and commenters — to find out: https://wapo.st/4dwx0LS

RT with your home river I was born and grew up in Rocky Mount, NC, so the Tar River, which got its name from the barrels of tar (pitch) that were produced from logged longleaf pines that covered most of eastern NC when it was colonized and floated down the river. Used to protect wooden ships.
