I almost had it. The portraits in the Stardew Valley mod, Baldur's Village, never worked properly for me. Tonight, I tried 1 new fix and suddenly 2/3rds of them were working! Then, to fix the rest, I redownloaded the portraits themselves, added them to the file and... None of the work again.
