A timely reminder that nearly half the Epstein files in possession of the Trump administration have not been released as required by law. A law Trump promoted and signed. We all know what he's hiding in general terms.

The caucus also accused the Trump administration of a broad cover-up, designed to shield the president from blowback as it tried to roll out the release of the Epstein files to the general public.

Epstein died in 2019, so there's plenty of reason to think the Biden admin sat on this info for the entire term and did nothing with it.

I hope this has an impact. I hope it's not just a ripple & gone, like so many other scandals. I hate that it depends on Fox News airing this story in order for 1/3 of the population to learn this. I hate that other press will barely cover this because they've already baked in that Trump's a rapist.

It just shouldn't be, that the press can be blasé about this. It should matter, & be scandalous. It should be a big fucking story that the President of the US is accused of using the people's DOJ & other institutions to cover up sex crimes that he committed Have we really lost all sense of outrage?
