MINNESOTA: “I don’t think about myself. The youth are the most innocent. Anything you can do to save them is worth it.” ♥️ Endless stories attack the MN Somali-American community— but Ebro Ahmed🦸🏽‍♂️saves a bus 🚌 full of kids and stories mostly leave out that he’s Somali? 🤔

Even CBS owned by an oligarch that supports Trump is calling out the election interference.

Per CBS 60 Minutes: "The midterms are just two weeks away, and President Trump is using his power to intimidate the people who run our elections, putting the voting system under remarkable stress."

In 2025, a majority of S&P 500 CEOs made more in 1 day than the median US worker made the entire year. Meanwhile, the median US worker would need to work 43,154 years to earn what Trump made in 2025 thanks to his crypto scams & various grifts. When I say the system is broken, this is what I mean.

WELKER: “Trump waived sanctions on Russia — Why is Trump rewarding Putin, a dictator, who invaded Ukraine? Is Trump siding with Putin? Does Trump consider Ukraine an ally?” BESSENT: *word salad* 🥗 Russia was never a hoax.

The sooner the better.

WELKER: Do you believe Democrats should impeach President Trump should they take back the House? WARNOCK: Listen, Donald Trump is a crook. And he's gotta go. And the people who are enabling him, they all have to be held accountable.

It’s bad enough that Gavin Newsom opposes California’s Prop 40. But he also supports Prop 42, a billionaire-backed poison pill that would cancel out Prop 40 entirely and make it impossible to enact future wealth taxes. It’s clear whose side he’s on. Remember this in 2028.

Way over the cliff. The very least people can do is vote. Encourage your friends to vote. Best option vote early and in person. Bring a friend with you and then go support a small business.

WASHINGTON—Trump’s federal agents raid Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home over decades-old “immigration paperwork” her father filled out when she was a kid. No charges. Breaking DOJ norms. Over the cliff, folks.

Any women that has attended an event would declare the sooner the better. Stall doors without those giant cracks and to the floor. Bonus lines would be so much shorter for us!

Because you can’t afford meat, gas and are dreading the cost of heating your home this winter you better be happy to get your passport in a fancy envelope.

I love that the U.S. government now has ideas so dumb that the fact checks are simply “yeah this isn’t a parody, it’s real”

This is what local news should look like. Well done!

Christopher Webb@cwebbonline.com

This is priceless. Check out how local news is reporting on Sen Eric Schmidt’s clown-show grilling of Jack Smith. They found Jack Smith at the game… “Top corner, section 109, row 1. In fact, that seat doesn’t even exist in Atlanta.”

Hard to imagine what that would be like

Marco Rubio: "Anything that had a chance of making money in Cuba was controlled by the Cuban military and the Cuban communist party to line the pockets of a handful of individuals at the expense of the entire country"

We could all have this, I’m not saying he’s perfect but he sure is a shining example of when an elected official works for the people instead of the oligarchs.

Jack Smith: "History teaches that the rule of law is rarely destroyed all at once. It's often weakened by attacks on the institutions and the public servants sworn to uphold it. Since January 2025, we have witnessed precisely such an effort."

The rise of 287(g) programs has meant that ICE is increasingly using local police as a very significant force multiplier, with up to 1 in 8 arrests of noncitizens in the interior now being carried out by state and local police. This is going to have profound impacts on community relations.

Guardian US@us.theguardian.com

But an increasing proportion of arrests have been made by local law enforcement in partnership with ICE, via 287(g) agreements. In many regions, it can be difficult to know when local officers are conducting routine policework or immigration enforcement. In many cases, they are doing both.

Here's how we get Medicare for All done: Make Medicare whole (no one can keep all the parts straight!) Include vision, dental, and hearing. Begin extending to more people, starting with children. We arrive at Medicare for All, which means great Medicare for everyone.

The amount of Amazon workers relying on SNAP and Medicaid has nearly tripled since 2020 — while Amazon’s annual profits soared by over 550%. It’s the same story everywhere: corporate profits are at record highs, while workers’ share of the economy is at a record low. We must unrig the system.

A MORATORIUM ON DATA CENTERS SHOULDN’T EVEN BE IN QUESTION AT THIS POINT And we definitely need more reporting on this issue: HEAT Data centers devour electricity and water, dump heat into communities, and Big Tech is building them faster than lawmakers are dealing with the consequences.

This is how powerful unions are. If you are willing to join and put in the work they guarantee a better outcome for members.

HUGE: Autozone workers just won the first ever union at the company. Despite Autozone spending an estimated $210,696 and using every tactic in the book to stop just 11 workers from forming a union, the small shop in New York chose to unionize today. These workers will now join the @uaw.org.

A recent survey found that 92% of U.S. adults have delayed or avoided medical care due to high costs. Meanwhile, a new study from Yale estimates that Medicare for All would save over 114,000 lives and $1 trillion a year. If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have universal healthcare.
