Tech bans in schools greatly hinder our ability to equip students with the skills & knowledge needed for today's workforce. Laws like Indiana SB 78 not only prevent students from using personal tech like phones & laptops, but also personal Raspberry Pi devices, micro:bits, etc. #CSEd #Education

A little reminder that enjoying yourself is never a waste of time. Hours into a videogame isn't a waste of time. Learning something for fun isn't a waste of time. I love learning new things, I have so many I learned once and never did again. Never a waste of time.

I still don't understand the chase for hyperrealistic graphics. Not once have I played a game that aims to look like real life and thought "wow, I feel so much more immersed because of how real this looks". Snappy, responsive controls have 10000x more impact on immersion than graphics ever will imo

You can't demand teachers hold advanced degrees, manage complex classrooms, & maintain state licensing, then tell them they aren't "professionals" on a federal checklist. Leaving K12 education off the Ed Dept’s professional list is a massive misstep. Teaching is a profession. Period. #EduSky #CSEd
